Chapter 52 Angels
Most of the angels are still getting used to their new bodies.
Their walking is uncoordinated, like a toddler learning to walk.
Even so, they still stubbornly tread on the clouds step by step.
They stumbled and staggered toward the Lord.
Of course, apart from Lucifer.
There are also a few exceptionally talented little angels who have already adapted to this angelic body.
Barefoot on the soft clouds.
They began to observe everything in heaven with curiosity and great interest.
Soon, they were drawn to the conversation between God and Lucifer.
After seeing that little angel, who was about the same age as them, was actually given a name by the Lord himself.
I was so envious and itching to try it myself.
Even the little wings on its back were flapping incessantly.
Among these angels, a blond cherub seemed to sense his companion's thoughts. In fact, he himself also longed for the Lord to name him, so he had a sudden inspiration and said to the angels:
"Why don't we go together and let the Lord give us names too!"
Seeing that someone was taking the lead, the little angels mustered their courage and followed the golden-haired angel to the Lord's presence. Before Lucifer and the ravens, they prayed:
"Lord, please give us names too."
"We want names too..."
They're like a group of kids who see others with new toys and want one too...it's so cute.
Yahweh pondered this for a moment.
This group of angels was small, and they adapted to the body much faster than the rest of the angels.
This means their souls are more powerful than those of ordinary angels, and they may become powerful figures in heaven in the future.
It really does deserve a name...
Seeing this, Lucifer put his hands on his hips, pouted, and looked displeased.
The Lord only wanted to name him.
But these people insist that the Lord also give them names... These people are shameless.
Yahweh did not notice Lucifer's condition.
He looked at the blonde angel at the head of the group, smiled, and said:
"Of course, you should indeed have names."
Yahweh remembered the names of the famous angels from his previous life.
Now that he already has Lucifer, why doesn't he go with the flow?
He didn't need to waste any more effort giving these angels new names...
So Yahweh pondered for a moment and said to the blond angel:
"How about you call him Michael..."
He then looked behind Michael at the little angels, whose expressions were also expectant and whose eyes were shining.
Yahweh pointed to each one, calling out their names in turn:
"Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Remiel, Sarakiel."
There are seven angels in total.
Including Lucifer, there are a total of eight.
This is of all the newly born angels.
The eight most powerful.
Similarly, in Yahweh's vision, they would serve as guardians of the heavenly order for a very long time to come...
Lucifer witnessed the whole thing and never expected that God would actually give them names too.
Suddenly, little Lucifer felt a little wronged.
It felt as if something had been taken away... that I was no longer unique.
However, he quickly recovered.
He pondered for a moment, then a brilliant idea struck him.
Trying to flap the white wings behind him, he made himself land very handsomely in front of the angels.
He stood with his hands on his hips, looking at the blond Michael before him, his small face serious, and said:
"I'm the first one with a name..."
"And my name was given to me by the Lord... not asked for."
"So, I'm the eldest brother."
Michael and the other angels exchanged glances and agreed that Lucifer's words made a lot of sense.
So he nodded happily and called out affectionately:
"Big brother~"
"Hmph."
Lucifer was secretly pleased to see that the angels were obedient.
Yahweh witnessed all of this.
Seeing the angels getting along harmoniously, he nodded with satisfaction.
However, considering the grudges and feuds between these names in their past myths.
He also gave the angels a special instruction:
"Lucifer, Michael..."
"Listen carefully."
"All angels are brothers and sisters, regardless of age or social status; they should help one another and love one another..."
"Absolutely not—"
"Brothers turned against each other..."
The angels were very obedient; they fluttered their pure white wings and kept these words firmly in mind.
Then, at Yahweh's suggestion.
These childlike angels dispersed and went off to play and frolic in heaven.
However, it is worth noting that the angel Raguel was not playful.
He is a very loving child.
After the group disbanded, his first thought was to help his fellow angels who hadn't yet adapted to their bodies. He helped them walk, guided them to speak, and taught them to use their wings...
Michael and the others, seeing this, seemed to realize that they were embarrassed by their playful behavior.
So he went to Raguel's side to help the newborn angels.
The other angels, seeing this, followed suit...
Lucifer, while rummaging through Valhalla, excitedly found a longsword and was about to show it off to his other angelic companions when...
But he discovered that no one was following him anymore...
As Lucifer stepped out of Valhalla, he saw the angels gathered around Michael.
They helped the other new students while chatting and laughing.
But beside him, there was no one...
This made him feel wronged, so he could only sit by the wall, holding his sword, and sulk.
...
The crow flapped its wings.
Once again, they stood on Yahweh's shoulders.
Looking at those newborn little angels, there were a few minor incidents.
But overall, seeing Heaven flourishing made it very happy...
Because God was happy...so He was happy too.
"Lord, are these children also part of Your great vision?"
Yahweh replied with a smile, "Of course, once they grow up, we can entrust the main task of finding the scroll to these angels... Moreover, if we were to clash with the gods of the mortal world again, the angels would be a significant fighting force for us..."
"You don't need to be chased by Zeus anymore."
The crow immediately objected, flapping its wings and cawing loudly in rebuttal:
"I wasn't being chased by Zeus..."
"At most, it's a stalemate...a stalemate!"
It looks quite proud.
Yahweh did not say much.
Suddenly, as if struck by a thought, the crow asked in bewilderment:
"Lord, you said you wanted the angels to find the scroll... but what about the Messiah?"
"Is the Messiah going to be abandoned by the Lord?"
Yahweh shook his head and explained:
"The angels still need a long time to mature..."
"During this time, the Messiah will still need to fulfill his duty of finding the scroll."
"And in the future, when the angels possess the ability to stand on their own..."
"The Messiah will never be replaced..."
The crow remained puzzled.
However, all that was heard the Lord say was this—
"At that time."
"The Messiah will have a new mission..."
"They will inherit Yara's beliefs—"
"Upholding..."
"My will."
"Walking on the earth."
The heavenly kingdom rises and falls like clouds.
The supreme phantom gazes down upon the world...
And it was as if His eyes had pierced through the years, transcending the veil of time and fate.
I saw that... distant, destined future.
.....
