Chapter 3 - FIRST SIDE LOVE

[ Feeling he couldn't hide]

The days slowly began to change for Sahib.

Before meeting Ayesha, his college life was simple and quiet. He would attend classes, read books in the library, and go home without talking much to anyone.

But now things felt different.

Every morning when he woke up, the first thought that came to his mind was Ayesha.

Her smile.

Her calm voice.

The way she spoke about books.

Even small conversations with her made his entire day better.

Sahib didn't fully understand his feelings yet, but something inside him was slowly growing stronger.

One afternoon, after finishing his classes, Sahib went to the library again.

It had almost become a habit now.

As he entered the library, his eyes automatically searched for Ayesha.

And just like the last few days, she was there.

She was sitting near the window, reading quietly. Soft sunlight was falling on the table beside her, making the moment look peaceful.

Sahib walked toward her with a small smile.

"Hi, Ayesha."

Ayesha looked up and smiled warmly.

"Hi, Sahib. You are here again."

Sahib laughed softly.

"I think the library has become my favorite place now."

Ayesha raised her eyebrow playfully.

"Really? Or is there another reason?"

For a moment, Sahib didn't know what to say.

He looked a little embarrassed.

Ayesha noticed this and laughed lightly.

"Relax, I was joking."

They both sat down and started talking again.

Their conversations were always simple but meaningful.

Sometimes they talked about books.

Sometimes about college life.

And sometimes about their dreams.

That day Ayesha asked him something different.

"Sahib, what do you want to do in the future?"

Sahib thought for a moment.

"I'm not sure yet," he said honestly. "But I want to do something meaningful… something that makes my parents proud."

Ayesha nodded slowly.

"That's a good dream."

Then Sahib asked her the same question.

"And you?"

Ayesha smiled gently.

"I want to travel and see different places," she said. "And maybe write stories one day."

Sahib looked surprised.

"You want to become a writer?"

"Yes," she said with excitement in her eyes. "Stories are powerful. They can make people feel emotions they never expected."

Sahib looked at her for a moment.

"You would be a great writer."

Ayesha looked a little shy after hearing that.

"Thank you."

As they continued talking, time passed quickly again.

But this time something new happened.

While they were talking, one of Sahib's friends suddenly came to the library.

His friend Rohan saw them sitting together and walked toward their table with a mischievous smile.

"Well well… Sahib!" he said loudly.

Sahib looked shocked.

"Rohan! What are you doing here?"

Rohan looked at Ayesha and smiled.

"So this is why you keep coming to the library every day."

Sahib felt extremely embarrassed.

"Rohan, stop it."

Ayesha tried to hide her smile.

Rohan continued teasing him.

"You never told me about your new friend."

Ayesha politely introduced herself.

"Hi, I'm Ayesha."

Rohan nodded.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Sahib's best friend."

Then he looked at Sahib again and whispered loudly.

"Good choice."

Sahib quickly stood up and pulled Rohan aside.

"What are you doing?" he whispered angrily.

Rohan laughed.

"Relax. I'm just joking."

After a few minutes Rohan left the library, still smiling.

When Sahib returned to the table, he looked embarrassed.

"I'm sorry about him," he said.

Ayesha laughed softly.

"It's okay. He seems funny."

Sahib smiled too.

But deep inside, something had changed.

For the first time, someone had hinted that there might be something more between him and Ayesha.

And that thought stayed in his mind.

That evening, while walking home, Sahib kept thinking about everything.

Was he really starting to like Ayesha?

Was this just friendship?

Or something more?

He didn't know the answer yet.

But one thing was clear.

Ayesha had become very important to him.

And every time he saw her smile, his heart felt lighter.

However, Sahib also didn't know something else.

While he was slowly falling in love…

Ayesha's feelings might not be the same.

And this silent love was about to become more complicated.

The story of Sahib and Ayesha had only just begun.

And the next chapter would bring a moment that Sahib would never forget.

To be continued...
