Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: The Sacred Covenant of the Ancients

Just as the silver moon of Aizen was about to settle into the sky, a golden pulse erupted from the very core of the planet. The white sands of Hueco Mundo didn't just tremble; they wept. From the spiritual essence of the world, a bridge of pure, ancient light manifested.

Standing upon this bridge was Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths. But he was not alone.

Beside him stood the Great Toad Sage, Gamamaru, his ancient eyes glowing with the wisdom of the beginning. To his left, the White Snake Sage of Ryuchi Cave coiled in a majestic, translucent form, and to his right, the Great Slug Sage of Shikkotsu Forest manifested as a shimmering mountain of healing vitality.

The Union of the Holy Sites

"The balance has been tipped too far," Hagoromo's voice was like the grinding of tectonic plates. "Aizen Sosuke, you have stolen the branches, but the roots still belong to the Earth. I have called upon the Three Sacred Regions to reclaim what was lost."

The Three Sages didn't use chakra; they used Senjutsu of the Origin.

Gamamaru let out a croak that vibrated the fabric of reality, stripping away Aizen's illusions.

The White Snake Sage exhaled a mist that turned the white sand back into fertile earth, rejecting the Void's influence.

The Slug Sage released a wave of restoration that began to pull the shattered souls of the million-man army back together.

The Clash of Eras

Aizen looked at the newcomers, his eyes narrowing for the first time. "The ghosts of the world's infancy... you've finally crawled out of your caves to defend a rotting garden."

"Naruto. Sasuke. Sakura," Aizen commanded, his voice cold. "Destroy the foundations. If the Earth refuses the Void, we shall erase the Earth."

Naruto stepped forward, his platinum hair flowing. He didn't hesitate. He launched himself toward Hagoromo. "Void Style: Gran Rey Cero—Extinction."

Hagoromo raised his staff, and a barrier of the Six Paths Senjutsu met the beam. The collision created a sun on the horizon.

Sasuke lunged toward the White Snake Sage, his obsidian blade clashing with the ethereal fangs of the serpent. Sakura faced the Great Slug, her green Reiatsu clashing against the infinite healing mass of the Shikkotsu Forest.

The final, true war had begun. It was no longer Shinobi vs. Espada. It was the Natural Law of the World vs. the Engineered Divinity of the Void.
