Chapter 2 - CH 2:Contract With a Fire Spirit

I asked the maid to go outside the room so I could rest for a while. When she left, I sat quietly on my bed and tried to understand my situation.

First, I didn't have any memories about my past in this world.

Second, I could still remember some strange things from somewhere else, like certain behaviors and ideas. For example, I somehow knew what a "yandere" was, even though I didn't know where that knowledge came from.

Third, this body felt unfamiliar to me. When I looked at my hands and the face in mirror, I was clearly just a ten-year-old boy.

honestly looked like that of a young prince.

Maybe it was because of my family's genes. From what I had seen so far, the members of this family were all very beautiful.

My hair was pink, something I had never seen before in my previous life.

My eyes were bright blue, clear like the sky.

Even my body looked different. For a 10-year-old, my muscles were already well defined. Not too big, but strong and balanced.

I looked at my hands again.

A spirit mark there

I held my head and sighed.

What exactly happened to me?

Did I lose my memories… or did I come from somewhere else?

And when I looked into my pant I find out my little brother length is almost 13-15cm and width is 4-5cm it is scary because I am only 10 yrs old

I know for sure this guy is gonna be a monster 💀

I tried to say things like "System, show status" and other words like that. I thought maybe a screen would appear in front of me. But nothing happened. No light, no window, nothing.

I waited for a few seconds, but still nothing showed up.

Maybe there is no system in this world.

But I know one thing for sure… this world is magical.

Earlier today, I saw something shocking. A maid in the garden raised her hand and a strong wind appeared. The wind turned sharp like a blade and cut a small tree for firewood.

The tree fell down in one clean cut.

I just stood there, staring.

So… there really is magic in this world. ✨

So I realised this world is not from a game for sure

I tried to use magic myself. I focused and tried to feel something in my body. I tried to imagine wind, fire, anything…

But nothing happened.

No magic. Not even a small spark.

After a while, I gave up and walked outside the room.

When I opened the door, I saw the maid standing there quietly. She looked like she was waiting.

Doesn't she have work to do? I thought.

So I called out, "Hey, listen."

She looked at me and spoke in a calm voice,

"Young master

I would appreciate it if you call me by my name in private. Even if your sister told you not to."

Her words made me freeze for a moment.

Her name…?

I realized something important.

I don't know her name.

If I ask her now, she might get suspicious.

So I decided to use my sister as an excuse.

I crossed my arms and said, "My sister's orders are absolute.

I would like to thank my sister for telling me not to call you by your name."

The maid looked at me silently, and for a moment I couldn't tell what she was thinking.

She looked at me and said, "What a siscon."

I felt embarrassed, but I tried to stay calm.

"Let's go to the library," I said.

She didn't say anything and started walking. I was a little surprised.

*Shouldn't she wait for her master to walk first?*

But honestly… this helped me, because I didn't know where the library was.

So I quietly followed her.

After a short walk, she stopped in front of a large door.

I nodded. "Wait outside."

Then I went inside.

The library was big. Shelves full of books were everywhere. I started searching for books about magic.

After a while, I found one and began reading.

The book explained that magic in this world is simple in theory. Every person has a certain **type of magic**, like how Pokémon have different types.

To use real magic, a person must **make a contract with a spirit** that matches their type.

After the contract is made, a **strange mark appears on the person's hand**, like a tattoo. The spirit also takes a form that matches the owner's desired appearance.

(If this really is some novel or game world… I would like to thank the author or creator.)

On the mark, **words are written**.

Those words are used to talk to the contracted spirit.

I looked at my own hand.

There was a mark.

And words were written on it.

"…Wait on Mine?"

I continued reading the book and learned how to speak with the contracted spirit.

It was simple.

Close your eyes.

Say the words written on your arm.

So I closed my eyes and spoke the words.

For a moment, everything was silent.

Then I opened my eyes—

And I was stunned.

In front of me stood a **red-haired woman**. Her appearance looked almost **divine**, like something not meant for this world. She was… unbelievably beautiful.

Her long red hair flowed down her back like moving flames. When the light touched it, it almost looked like fire itself.

Her eyes were deep crimson, warm and bright, like burning embers in a fireplace.

Her skin was smooth and pale, almost glowing slightly, giving her a divine and elegant aura.

She was taller than me, with a calm and confident posture. The way she stood made her look both powerful and graceful at the same time.

She wore a dress made of soft red and black spirit energy,

She looked at me calmly and spoke.

The red-haired spirit looked at me and spoke first.

"My name is Sophie," she said. "I honestly thought you were never going to summon me again."

She crossed her arms a little and added, "You made a contract with me yesterday at school… and then you disappeared for a whole day. What kind of master does that?"

I scratched my head awkwardly.

"Sorry," I said. "I was injured… as you can see."

I pointed at the bandage wrapped around my head.

She looked at it for a moment, then sighed softly.

"I see… that explains it."

After that, I looked at her carefully and asked, "What type are you?"

Even though I already had a guess.

With her red hair and warm aura… she was probably a fire-type spirit.

She gave a small smile.

"As you expected, I am a fire spirit."

Then I asked, "How do I use attacks? How do I use magic?"

She patiently explained everything in detail.

She told me how to focus my mana, how to borrow her power, and how to shape magic into attacks. She also warned me not to force too much power at once, or my body wouldn't be able to handle it.

I listened carefully to every word.

After she finished explaining, I looked around and noticed the clock in the library.

It was already past 10 at night.

I let out a small sigh.

"I understand now," I said. "Thank you."

Then I looked at her again.

"Goodbye for now. I'll summon you tomorrow."

She nodded calmly.

"Don't take another whole day next time," Sophie said with a small smile.

Her body slowly faded away, turning into small red lights before disappearing completely.

The library became quiet again.
