Chapter 2 - The Last Heir

In a world ruled by supernatural powers, humanity is divided into three classes:

The first class, the Elite, consists of individuals with immense power capable of destroying anything. There are only ten of them, hailing from different countries, most of whom serve as guardians of their nations, known as the Heroes of the Land.

The second class, the Normals, possesses supernatural abilities as well, but their powers are weaker than the Elite. They make up 95% of the world's population.

The last class, the Weak, are those unfortunate souls who have yet to awaken their powers. They suffer in this world, often at the hands of the Normals, because of the imbalance of strength.

Our young protagonist, Firion, is a sixteen-year-old boy with black hair, pale skin, and a frail body. He lives in a small town called Biregeem with his parents and three siblings. Leading a quiet life, he keeps to himself, unable to wield any supernatural power like others.

He often wanders the streets with his cousin, Magni, who is the same age. Magni possesses slightly better strength and an impressive physique, but he is plagued by fear.

One day, while the two were out exploring, they encountered a group of people from the other side of town and decided to spend some time with them. Soon, a conflict erupted between Magni and one of the strangers. Overcome by fear, Magni froze—but Firion, without enough strength to face the threat, stepped forward to push him out of harm's way
