Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 – The Web of the World

Arthur closed his eyes, and the physical room dissolved. Through his D-Sensing, the world became a complex map of glowing ley lines and dark, jagged rifts. He saw the city of Aetheria not as buildings, but as a massive Qi-battery, draining the earth to power its neon lights and defense shields.

Beyond the city, he felt the Wild Zones—vast territories where the laws of physics had broken down during the Great Awakening. He sensed "Beasts" that breathed fire and gravity, some reaching the power of Rank 6 (Domain Manifestation). They were the true masters of the wilderness, waiting for the human cities to flicker and die.

But more interestingly, he sensed the Sovereign Anchors.

To the North, a cold, oppressive pillar of ice-blue energy marked the territory of the Frost Queen (Rank 8: Earth Immortal). To the West, a burning, golden sun-like presence revealed the main estate of the Helios Clan, where Leo's father, a Rank 7 Sovereign, sat on a throne of literal fusion.

"So many kings," Arthur whispered, a thin trail of grey smoke escaping his lips. "All fighting over a dying planet, completely unaware that the walls of their dimension are thinning."

He then felt something that made his Void Core pulse. Deep beneath the ocean, in the Pacific Trench, there was a Dimensional Leak. It wasn't a natural one. It felt like a "Plug" that was being slowly pulled out from the other side. Something from the Fifth or Sixth Plane was knocking on the door of Earth.

"The Global Defense Front thinks they are protecting the world from monsters," Arthur smirked, his crimson eyes snapping open. "They don't realize the world itself is becoming a monster."

He stood up, his vision returning to the room. He now knew the layout. He knew where the power was stored and where the reality was weakest. He wasn't just a student anymore; he was a spider sitting at the edge of a web that spanned the entire globe.
