"The Voice in the Mirror"Rohit lived alone in a small apartment on the 7th floor. He liked the silence. No roommates, no noise, no interruptions.
One night around 2:17 AM, Rohit woke up suddenly.
He heard someone whispering his name.
"Rohit… Rohit…"
Half asleep, he looked around the dark room.
"Probably a dream," he muttered.
But then the whisper came again.
"Rohit… look at me…"
The voice sounded like it was coming from the bathroom.
His heart started beating faster. Slowly, he got up and walked toward the bathroom door.
The light inside was already on.
He was sure he had turned it off before sleeping.
The mirror above the sink was foggy… like someone had just taken a hot shower.
But Rohit lived alone.
He stepped closer.
Then he saw something that made his blood run cold.
In the fog on the mirror, words were written with a finger:
"YOU LOOK BETTER WHEN YOU SLEEP."
Rohit felt a chill down his spine.
He quickly wiped the mirror.
His own reflection appeared… staring back at him.
But something was wrong.
His reflection was smiling.
Rohit wasn't.
The reflection slowly raised its hand…
But Rohit's hand stayed still.
Then the reflection leaned closer to the glass and whispered:
"Your turn to stay inside."
Suddenly the bathroom light went out.
And from inside the mirror… Rohit heard screaming.
The next morning, the neighbors saw Rohit brushing his teeth calmly in the bathroom.
But if they had looked carefully…
They would have noticed something strange.
The real Rohit was banging on the other side of the mirror.
And the thing outside…
Was still smiling.
