Chapter 411 - Chapter 411: Delinquent Girl

Chapter 411: Delinquent Girl

Secretary Chika: ...Eh? Eh! Eh! Eh! H-hold on a second, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Is this Dimensional Chat Group some kind of black-tech thing the Shinomiya conglomerate cooked up?

Secretary Chika: Honestly what's happening to me right now feels straight out of one of those useless-shut-in-protagonist light novels.

Kaguya-sama: If my family could actually build something like this, the Shinomiya conglomerate would've launched into space ages ago instead of sitting around on Earth.

Kaguya-sama: Who actually created the Dimensional Chat Group in the first place is genuinely still a mystery — most likely Admin-sama, though he's never once admitted to it.

Kaguya-sama: Honestly, I keep getting the feeling Admin-sama's just playing dumb this whole time — on paper he and Yukari-nee seem roughly matched, but I bet he could flatten her with a single finger if he actually tried.

Eternally Seventeen: Hey, hey, hold on, little Kaguya, why am I your go-to example for this hypothetical?

Eternally Seventeen: I'm not entirely sure I'd beat Admin-sama in a fight, sure, but I doubt I'd lose that badly.

RawrSoFierce: Ahem, wouldn't count on that too heavily, honestly...

Eternally Seventeen: Unacceptable. Admin-sama, when you've got some free time, let's settle this properly in the Arena.

Crazy Diamond: Is this "settling it" going to end up one of those not-quite-appropriate-for-younger-viewers kinds of matches?

Eternally Seventeen: ...

RawrSoFierce: ...10-minute mute warning.

Crazy Diamond: Sorry!! My bad!! Please spare me!!

Secretary Chika: W-wait, hold on. If Kaguya-chan didn't actually create the Dimensional Chat Group, how exactly did I get the invitation message?

Secretary Chika: The text in my head specifically said you invited me!

Kaguya-sama: Emmm, just scroll back through the chat history and you'll get the full picture.

Kaguya-sama: Oh, and almost forgot — Chika-san, make sure to check the pinned announcement too, top right corner, little red dot. Just tap it.

Kaguya-sama: Once you've gone through the announcement and the earlier chat history, everything should make a lot more sense.

Secretary Chika: I see... got it, I'll go take a look now.

Edward Newgate: Gurararara, our newcomer's got pretty solid nerves, honestly!

RawrSoFierce: Well, she's young — teenagers tend to roll with new stuff a lot easier.

Ying Zheng The Sovereign: This sovereign, if memory serves, needed a solid several days just to fully accept this whole reality when joining.

Hero for Fun: Oh? A newcomer joined? Guess that means I'm not the freshest member anymore. Nice!

Hero for Fun: Well, being a senpai doesn't come with any real perks, but somehow I'm still weirdly pleased about it.

Crazy Diamond: Sensei Saitama, are you heading back into Dungeon Mode tonight?

Hero for Fun: Of course I am — that place actually suppresses my strength, so even fighting some low-tier monster gets my blood pumping.

Hero for Fun: And the monsters that spawn in Solo Mode are all absurdly strong too — genuinely feels like being pumped up again after a long time.

Hero for Fun: Shame the sign-in Points are so measly, though. That part's a real bummer.

Admiral Kizaru: Looks like Sensei Saitama's already got a pretty solid handle on all the Dimensional Chat Group's features.

Admiral Kizaru: Speaking of which, whatever happened to Admin-sama's newcomer invitation? Did they turn it down?

RawrSoFierce: Sent that out a few minutes ago — guess they must've declined?

[Ding! "Ōtsutsuki Kaguya" has joined the Dimensional Chat Group!]

RawrSoFierce: ...Instant karma, right on cue.

Eternally Seventeen: Ahahaha, genuinely satisfying seeing Admin-sama eat his own words like that.

Kaguya-sama: And there Admin-sama and Yukari-nee go, right back to their usual banter-bickering.

"..."

Back in the Kaguya-sama: Love Is War world, Kaguya's fine features flickered with resignation for a moment before she smoothed it back over.

She let out a light breath and glanced at the clock on her wall — barely 9 a.m.

Her gaze drifted toward the closet not far off. She walked over, opened it, and looked at the school uniforms hanging prominently inside, lips pressed together thoughtfully.

"Chika-san's probably still at school right now. Guess I'm technically her senior in the group now — might as well help her get through this newcomer phase properly."

Kaguya was already mentally sketching out a curriculum for teaching Chika hand-to-hand combat basics — after all, even a group member with no ambition to become genuinely powerful still needed at least some baseline ability to defend herself.

Once changed into Shuchiin Academy's uniform, Kaguya skipped the car entirely and simply walked to school.

Walking, for her, was faster than any car ride could manage. She could've just as easily copied Ryū's crude, brute-force method of tearing open a spatial rift and stepping through, of course.

For someone sitting in the chat group's Tier 2, tearing space open wasn't much of a challenge at all — going all-out in a real fight, she could casually cave in a spatial radius of a thousand meters or more without much thought.

And with the event's rewards pushing her strength up another notch — a good 20% stronger than before — that margin had only grown.

Looking at her own reflection in the mirror, Kaguya murmured to herself, "Hmph... honestly, I never overthought it back at the start. I just didn't want to fall too far behind Admin-sama — wanted to stay close enough to keep pace with him, so I just kept training."

"Never expected that a little over a year later, I'd end up this strong — strong enough that the very planet under my feet might not survive a hit from me now, either."

"..."

Sure, she couldn't quite blow up the Earth beneath her feet in a single strike just yet, but a few more hits ought to do the trick — one punch not enough, then two.

Still, there was something undeniably odd about it all — a slender, still-underage girl, specializing in a discipline as brutally physical as hand-to-hand combat. However she looked at it, something about that combination just didn't quite sit right.

Kaguya gave a small, self-deprecating laugh and shook the thought off entirely.

She pulled open the floor-length window in her room, and in a flicker of motion, vanished on the spot.

A few seconds later, she reappeared right at Shuchiin Academy's front gate — conveniently in a perfect blind spot for every security camera on the premises.

Pulling out her old-model flip phone, Kaguya typed out a quick text to Chika:

"I'm already at school, Chika-chan~ Wait for me in the Student Council office!"

Tap. Sent.

"Ten whole days without coming to school, huh... the more I think about it, the less this looks like something a good student would do. Feels more like something one of the school's actual delinquents would pull."
