Chapter 419 - Chapter 419: Just Kill Them All

Chapter 419: Just Kill Them All

Hero for Fun: Whoa! That's bright — are those glowing dots the alien ships' energy cannons? Look pretty intense, honestly!

RawrSoFierce: Looks like it, yeah. Not sensing much actual danger from them, though — most of that firepower's probably not worth writing home about.

I'm Rolling In It: ...Am I seriously the only one whose Observation Haki is going off like a fire alarm right now?

Terrible Tornado: Maybe you're just weak.

I'm Rolling In It: ...Pfft!!!

I'm Rolling In It: That's a little too real, honestly. So even sitting comfortably at Tier 3 in this group, the gap's still that massive? That's rough.

Terrible Tornado: Well, this is a Tier 1 quest — of course a Tier 3 tagging along is going to feel like everything's lethal.

Kaguya-sama: ...Wait, are you all seriously chatting through the group even mid-fight?

RawrSoFierce: We're out in open space right now, kind of hard to actually talk out here — chatting through the group's basically the only practical option.

Kaguya-sama: Oh, I see! So it's a space battle this time?

Kaguya-sama: Speaking of which, Mr. Stark, you're not getting overwhelmed out there, are you?

I'm Rolling In It: ...Why does everyone have so little faith in Uncle Tony?

I'm Rolling In It: Uncle Tony happens to be extremely impressive, thank you very much.

I'm Rolling In It: Fuck! Uncle Tony's just sitting here chatting in the group and those bastards actually opened fire! Energy cannons, no less. Good thing Uncle Tony's got quick reflexes, or that would've been a wrap for today.

Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit: Wait... hold on, you can all just casually chat in the group mid-battle like nothing's happening?

Terrible Tornado: Multitasking's practically standard procedure in the Dimensional Chat Group.

The Ancient One: Been in this group long enough now that fighting, chatting, and watching a TV show simultaneously is genuinely no problem for me at this point.

Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit: !!!

Secretary Chika: ...This must be what people mean by a legendary Tier 1 heavy hitter.

Secretary Chika: Wish I could get that strong someday too.

RawrSoFierce: Not a big ask, honestly — Kaguya's only been in the group a little over a year and one month, and she's already sitting comfortably in Tier 2.

RawrSoFierce: Sure, there's a bit of luck involved, but there's no denying it — once you're a member of the Dimensional Chat Group, your strength climbs like it's strapped to a rocket, pretty much across the board.

Eternally Seventeen: I've noticed that too, honestly.

Eternally Seventeen: Give little Chika-chan over to me for training, and I guarantee within two years she'll be standing comfortably in Tier 3.

Eternally Seventeen: With decent luck, Tier 2's not out of the question either.

Eternally Seventeen: And with Admin-sama-tier luck? Tier 1's not entirely off the table!

Secretary Chika: ...Somehow this is starting to sound a lot like someone trying to lure a minor into something shady.

Kaguya-sama: Chika-san's uncovered Yukari-nee's true nature, lol.

Eternally Seventeen: Pah! As if I'd ever try luring a minor into anything.

"..."

Despite everyone chatting away in the group like nothing much was happening, out in some remote corner of the Marvel world's cosmos —

A blinding rain of energy-cannon fire, converging into countless streaks of light, surged toward Ryū and the others.

Thousands upon thousands of warships firing their cannons in unison — more than enough firepower to level an entire planet's surface civilization outright.

The Ancient One, expressionless, spread open a massive spatial tunnel.

Every last streak of light, right at the moment of impact, was instead swallowed whole into that tunnel, funneled straight into the mirror-space she'd already opened.

Not a single beam of that entire rain of lasers so much as grazed her.

"Impressive!"

Watching the Ancient One casually redirect an entire barrage into the mirror-space with barely a gesture, Saitama couldn't help feeling genuinely moved.

If he could pull off a trick like that, wouldn't he never have to pay rent again? Just move straight into the mirror-space — plenty of room, and no neighbors to bother him.

Looking out at the vast fleet ahead, Saitama took a slow breath, holding it in. Good thing he'd already run into a few space-battle scenarios inside the Arena before this — otherwise he might genuinely have struggled to adjust.

He raised his fist slowly, his expression settling into something serious, muscles tensing, veins standing out along his arm.

Then, without hesitation, he threw the punch — his Serious Series: Serious Punch.

A terrifying wave of raw force surged forward like a tsunami, crashing straight into the fleet ahead.

Every beam of laser fire converging on him simply shattered apart under the sheer force of the punch's wake.

Wherever that wave of force passed, ships detonated outright, as though struck by the most advanced main guns the universe had to offer — an entire cluster of warships blossoming into fireballs, one after another, like fireworks bursting open in sequence.

Looking out over the aftermath, it was as if someone had taken an eraser and simply wiped an entire cluster of warships clean off the map.

Nothing but raw physical strength — and even out here in the vacuum of space, a single punch could deliver destruction on this scale.

Say what you like, this really was Saitama — a being of genuinely absurd, almost offensive levels of power.

Not that there was anything particularly worth envying in that, though — Saitama had spent three full years training to earn that kind of unstoppable, world-ending strength.

Whereas Ryū, starting from an ordinary person, hadn't even hit a year and a half yet, and had already built up a comparably terrifying combat presence of his own.

Meaning, functionally, his own growth curve had actually outpaced Saitama's.

Setting aside the stray tangent of thoughts, Ryū turned his attention, expressionless, back to the sprawling fleet ahead.

These ships were nothing more than small fry. Their firepower might genuinely threaten someone like Tony Stark, sure, but against the four Tier 1 members of the Dimensional Chat Group present, they posed no real threat whatsoever.

The real threat — the actual danger worth taking seriously — was that rule-breaking reincarnator who still hadn't shown himself.

And why did Ryū consider that reincarnator such a significant threat?

Simple enough — he didn't believe an army this massive, made up of Chitauri troops, would be operating without a commander somewhere behind it.

And if the Chitauri army genuinely had a commanding leader of its own...

Then that leader's strength, measured against the rule-breaking reincarnator's own power, probably wasn't all that far apart.

"Well, whatever — no point overthinking it. Just kill them all, and be done with it."
