That night, both of them returned home. After dinner, Denial said goodnight to Shereen and went to his room to sleep. Before lying down, he sat on his bed and quietly said, "System."
Suddenly, a glowing screen appeared in front of him. It displayed his status:

Gender: Male
Stamina: 10
Strength: 10
Agility: 10
Charm: 50
Denial stared at the screen in surprise.
But how did this system appear in front of him?
The answer was hidden in his past.
Before all of this happened, Denial was just a normal part-time office worker. One day, while he was returning home from work, he met with a terrible accident. After that accident, his soul somehow reincarnated into the body of another person—someone who was also named Denial.
When he first regained consciousness in this new body, he found himself in a horrifying situation. Some unknown people had stuffed him into a sack and thrown him into the sea, leaving him there to die.
Luckily, he survived.
When he woke up again, he was in a hospital. It was Shereen who had rescued him and brought him there.
Later, while sitting quietly after leaving the hospital, a strange system screen appeared in front of him for the first time. Denial was shocked at first, but after carefully exploring it, he realized something even more surprising.
This was a completely different world.
In this world, there was no record of his original identity. The person he used to be had never died in an accident here.
Now, lying on his bed that night, Denial thought to himself:
"For now, I should work in Shereen's company and help her. But I also need to find out who tried to kill the original owner of this body by throwing him into the sea. Until then, I must stay careful."
The Next Morning
The next morning, Shereen knocked on Denial's door and woke him up.
Denial got ready and soon joined her at the breakfast table.
Shereen smiled and said,
"Today I'm going to officially introduce you to the company as an idol. I'll also introduce you to an idol group you'll be working with."
Then she asked him,
"You can sing, right?"
Denial nodded.
"Yes, I can sing pretty well."
Inside his mind, he thought, "I used to sing a lot at karaoke. I was actually really good."
Shereen stood up and said,
"Then let's go to a recording studio."
The two of them soon left for the studio.
The Recording Studio
Shereen had a friend who owned a recording studio, so she got permission to use it.
Inside the studio, they prepared to record a song.
As Denial started singing, his voice filled the entire room.
Shereen's friend, Luna, who was sitting nearby, was completely captivated by him.
She whispered to Shereen,
"Denial is incredibly handsome… and his singing is amazing. With someone like him, your company will definitely go far."
Even Shereen found herself lost in Denial's voice.
When the song finally ended, Denial walked out of the recording room and asked Luna nervously,
"How was it?"
Luna smiled widely and replied,
"Your singing skill is even better than many singers who perform on big stages."
After that, Denial recorded many more takes.
When the recording session finally ended, Denial sat outside the studio, exhausted.
"Recording songs is actually really hard work," he said.
Just then, Shereen walked up behind him.
"You worked really hard today," she said warmly, handing him a cold drink.
Denial accepted it and took a sip.
While drinking, Shereen added,
"Now we're going to meet one of the idol groups in the company. From now on, you'll be working with them."
Denial looked up, realizing that his new life had truly begun.
But deep in his heart, he knew that the mystery of the person who tried to kill the original Denial was still waiting to be uncovered.
