Chapter 7 - Chapter 6 - Depression.

Ten days had passed since I began my training with Nano's support. I also received help from the maid, who brought me food several times a day. After only ten days, the changes in my body were already visible.

I could no longer see my own ribs, and my body looked a little healthier. Normally, it wouldn't be possible to recover this quickly, but Nano helped with that.

The changes she made to my body are incredible.

After seeing such a drastic transformation in my body, I became very excited. The amount of daily exercise increased, and the amount of food I eat also increased. Because of this change in my body, my "status" also changed.

"Nano, show me my overall statistics."

Strength: 16

Endurance: 11

Dexterity: 10

Agility: 10

Magic: 5

The changes were noticeable, especially in my strength. According to Nano, the starting status of an adventurer is 10 points, so I'm currently at the same level as a novice adventurer.

That's surprising, since my body still doesn't have much muscle. Nano's enhancement is clearly noticeable.

'But if I think about it carefully, I'm not actually on the same level as a novice adventurer. I'm stronger than one. With Nano's support, I could definitely defeat any beginner adventurer.'

My reflexes, hearing, combat analysis—everything is far above average because of her.

But honestly, I don't know how far I can go without a Falna.

According to Nano, without a Falna I won't be able to go very far even with her help. In fact, if I obtained a Falna, it would be excellent, because she could assist with the "collection" of Excelia that exists in this world, making my growth extremely fast.

But I honestly don't want to obtain a Falna from Loki. I don't want to be part of that Familia.

After being imprisoned here like this, why would I stay in this place?

"Nano, how much longer until I fully recover? Until I become strong enough to at least try escaping from here."

[Your current parameters already show significant improvement — Strength: 16 | Endurance: 11 | Dexterity: 10 | Agility: 10 | Magic: 5 — surpassing the level of an ordinary human in strength. Maintaining the established training routine, it is estimated that the host will reach sufficient physical capability to attempt an escape in approximately 15 days. The system will continue optimizing muscular recovery, coordination, and endurance during this period.]

"Another 15 days? Considering how long I've already been here… almost a month, huh?"

I sighed and took off my shirt to begin my daily exercises. Just as I was about to start, the door to the room opened.

My eyes met the maid's, and silently she placed my food on the bed.

I hadn't spoken to her much over the past few days, except when I needed to go to the bathroom. Whenever I asked anything related to the Loki Familia or the goddess herself, she refused to answer, so I didn't see much point in talking to her.

However, today I decided to try speaking to her.

"Excuse me."

"Yes? Do you need to use the bathroom?"

"I wanted to know when I'll be allowed to leave this place. I know I've asked this question many times before, but this place is really unpleasant."

"You will be allowed to leave when you remember what Goddess Loki wants to know."

"Hahaha." I laughed. "I'm afraid that's impossible," I told her.

The woman stared at me for a few seconds and asked, "Why would that be impossible?"

"I don't remember anything about myself except my name. I don't even remember the names of my parents. It's as if my memories were ripped away from me."

That was partially true. I had no memories of my life in this world—only of my previous one.

"..." The woman looked at me with a gentle expression, as if she felt sympathy. "How old are you?" she asked.

"I'm 19," I answered honestly. At least that was my age in my previous life.

"You're very young." She smiled. "You don't need to worry too much about this, Yeo Woon. I'm sure you'll leave this place soon."

"How can you be so sure?"

"If you truly can't remember anything, I'm sure the goddess will let you go. She isn't a bad person."

When I heard her words, I almost burst out laughing.

Not a bad person? Don't make me laugh!

A good person wouldn't lock a malnourished, memoryless person inside a small, old room.

"But how long will it take before she realizes that I can't remember what she wants to know? It could take years."

"That's…"

"What's your name? I never asked."

"My name? My name is Alicia."

"Alicia? That's a beautiful name."

I smiled at the woman, and she blushed slightly.

"Alicia, could you do me a favor?"

"..."

"Could you take me for a walk? Even if it's just for five minutes. I'm almost going crazy inside this room. I feel like I'm reaching my limit."

[Tears will be produced.]

With Nano's help, tears began to flow down my face uncontrollably.

"Hey, are you alright? Why are you suddenly crying?" Alicia panicked for a moment. She had never seen me cry before.

"I feel like I'll never be able to remember anything. How am I supposed to find my family after I leave this place? That's assuming I even manage to leave. My body is weak. I can't do anything. I have no skills. I'm basically useless."

I started saying several unpleasant things about myself, as if I were nothing more than trash.

I began acting as if I were in a depressed state, and with Nano's help it was easy.

Alicia started to panic, but she didn't approach me.

"Look, you're not useless, alright? You work very hard every day! I know you exercise every day and you're doing everything you can to recover. I'm sure you had nothing to do with what happened, and when you leave here, you'll be able to live a good life." She smiled at me.

My tearful eyes looked at Alicia, and I gave her a weak smile.

"Thank you, Alicia."
