Caelus walked toward the fallen Enforcers while the emperor continued speaking to the gods gathered above the courtyard.
Broken rings were scattered across the steps, and several damaged clock faces lay among the debris. He crouched beside one of them and placed his hand against its cold surface.
[Talent Activated: Endless Extraction.]
He focused on the remains and attempted to extract something from them. After all, whatever had allowed these constructs to withstand the attacks of Primordials far stronger than themselves was certainly worth obtaining.
However, even after waiting for several seconds, nothing happened.
Unwilling to give up so easily, Caelus tried again and directed his power deeper into the broken core. When that failed, he moved on to the outer rings before trying another fallen construct.
Unfortunately, the result remained the same, and he didn't even receive a notification explaining why the extraction had failed.
"You're being difficult even after dying."
