Chapter 12 - Chapter 12-- The Mage Tower

The next day, Arjun's stream began much earlier than usual.

Even before the stream officially started, thousands of viewers were already waiting in the chat.

The moment the stream went live—

The chat exploded.

Messages flooded the screen so fast that it was almost impossible to read them.

"HE'S BACK!"

"PLAY BLUE WORLD!"

"DON'T DIE AGAIN!"

"AVENGE THE WOLF!"

Arjun appeared on camera beside the VR pod and laughed when he saw the chaos.

"…You guys really waited all night for this?"

"YES."

"START THE GAME."

"WE WANT MAGIC."

Arjun leaned back slightly.

"Before I start, I checked something interesting."

He pointed toward the monitor.

"Apparently there are 99 VR pods in the world right now."

Chat immediately reacted.

"WHERE ARE THE OTHER PLAYERS?"

"ARE YOU ALONE?"

Arjun nodded.

"Well… according to the delivery information, the other players will receive their pods today."

He smiled.

"So they probably start playing

tomorrow."

Chat exploded again.

"YOU HAVE A HEAD START."

"SPEEDRUN THE GAME."

A glowing paid message appeared.

ShadowRex:

Enjoy the head start while you can.

Another followed.

NovaWolf:

My pod arrives today. Tomorrow we'll catch you.

Arjun laughed.

"Competition already? Good."

He pointed toward the VR pod.

"Alright chat."

"Let's return to the Second World."

The VR pod closed.

The screen faded.

Returning to Blue World

Bright light filled Arjun's vision.

A moment later he appeared inside the village.

A system notification appeared.

Welcome Back — First Player

Arjun blinked.

"…Wait."

Another notification appeared.

Player Name: First Player

"…Chat… something is wrong."

Chat exploded.

"BRO YOUR NAME IS FIRST PLAYER??"

Arjun scratched his head awkwardly.

"…I think I forgot something yesterday."

"WHAT DID YOU FORGET??"

"…I never created a player name."

Chat went insane.

"LMAOOOOO."

Arjun sighed.

"So the system automatically kept my name as First Player."

A window appeared.

Do you want to change your player name?

Arjun nodded.

"Alright, let's fix that."

He opened the menu and tried to edit the name.

But the system immediately showed a warning.

Name Restriction Rule

Player Name Notice

• Player names can only be selected once

• After confirmation the name cannot be changed

• The selected name becomes permanent

Arjun frowned.

"…Wait a second."

He tried changing it again.

System Response

Error.

Player name cannot be modified.

He tried one more time.

Same result.

Chat exploded with laughter.

"BRO IS STUCK."

"FIRST PLAYER FOREVER."

Arjun leaned back and sighed.

"Well… looks like I'm really stuck with this name."

He shrugged.

"Fine. I guess I'll just stay First Player."

System Gameplay Rule

Another system window appeared.

Daily Gameplay Duration: 8 Hours

Playtime Window: 08:00 – 16:00

Arjun read it aloud.

"So everyone can only play between 8 AM and 4 PM."

Example:

• Login 08:00 → 8 hours

• Login 10:00 → 6 hours

• Login 14:00 → 2 hours

Chat reacted instantly.

"NO ALL NIGHT GRINDING."

Arjun nodded.

"That means tomorrow when the other players arrive…"

"…everyone will enter at the same time."

"SERVER WAR."

Arjun laughed.

"Yeah… that will be chaotic."

The Academy District

Arjun walked toward the academy area in the center of the village.

Several towers stood across the large courtyard.

A stone tower for Warriors.

A silver armored tower for Knights.

A white shining tower for Priests.

A dark narrow tower for Assassins.

And at the center—

A tall elegant structure covered in glowing runes.

The Mage Tower.

Chat reacted instantly.

"BRO GO MAGE."

Arjun grinned.

"Alright chat. Let's check it out."

Inside the Mage Tower

The moment Arjun stepped inside, a notification appeared.

Location Discovered: Mage Tower

The large hall was filled with mages wearing robes of different colors.

Each represented a different element.

A Fire Mentor in a red robe.

A calm Water Mentor.

A green-robed Wood Mentor.

A heavy Earth Mentor.

A swift Wind Mentor.

A mysterious Dark Mentor.

A radiant Light Mentor.

A cold Ice Mentor.

A crackling Thunder Mentor.

The moment they saw Arjun—

They all froze.

"…That aura."

One of them whispered.

Another looked shocked.

"The First Player…"

Above Arjun's head floated the golden title.

First Player

And his hidden class—

Elemental Mage

The mentors immediately began arguing loudly.

"His mana affinity is clearly Fire!"

"Nonsense, it's obviously Water."

"You fools, his aura is balanced with Wind."

"No, I sense Earth stability!"

The argument grew louder and louder.

"His potential belongs to my department!"

"No, he will study under me!"

Chat exploded watching the chaos.

"BRO THEY ARE FIGHTING OVER YOU."

"PICK FIRE."

"NO THUNDER."

The entire hall turned into a shouting match between the elemental mentors.

Suddenly—

Heavy footsteps echoed from the staircase above.

The entire hall went silent.

An elderly man with silver hair slowly descended.

Above his head floated a title.

Mage Master

His voice was calm but powerful.

"That is enough."

The mentors instantly stopped arguing.

He looked directly at Arjun.

"You possess the title First Player."

"And an extremely rare elemental resonance."

He nodded slowly.

"I will personally take you as my disciple."

The entire hall gasped.

Chat went completely insane.

"BRO SKIPPED THE TUTORIAL."

Power Titles

The Mage Master raised his staff.

Magical text appeared in the air, glowing brightly in front of everyone.

"This world measures strength through Titles," he said calmly.

"Each title represents a major stage of power. Every 30 levels, a new title is obtained."

The glowing list expanded.

Level 1 – 30 : Apprentice

Level 31 – 60 : Elite

Level 61 – 90 : Master

Level 91 – 120 : Grand Master

Level 121 – 150 : Legend

Level 151 – 180 : Saint

Level 181 – 210 : King

Level 211 – 240 : Emperor

Level 241 – 270 : Sovereign

Level 271 – 300 : Demi-God

The Mage Master looked at Arjun and continued.

"The higher your title…"

"…the closer you stand to the peak of power."

Arjun blinked.

"…Demi-God?"

The Mage Master nodded calmly.

"That is the highest known level in this world."

Chat instantly exploded.

"BRO LEVEL 300???"

"THIS GAME IS HUGE."

Arjun laughed nervously.

"…Guess I have a long way to go."

The Task Tower

Another magical image appeared.

A massive tower.

"This is the Task Tower."

"Every mage who reaches Level 10 must enter it."

"If they succeed, their level cap increases."

"If they fail…"

"They remain Level 10 forever."

Chat exploded.

"PERMANENT CAP??"

Arjun laughed nervously.

"…That's brutal."

The Mage Master simply replied.

"Power requires trials."

The chat continued flying across the screen.

Arjun looked at the spell scroll in his hand and smiled at the camera.

"Alright chat."

"Time to test some magic."

And somewhere in the forest outside the village—

The wolf that killed him yesterday was still waiting.
