Chapter 1 - The Truck That Ended My Life

My name is Guru.

In the year 2025, I was only 28 years old, yet I had already achieved what many people dream of their entire lives.

Money.

Success.

Freedom.

I had nearly 5 million USD in my bank account. I had worked day and night for years, building my career and investments. Finally, I had decided something crazy.

I was going to retire at 28.

For the first time in my life, I felt relaxed. No more endless work. No more stress. I wanted to travel, enjoy life… and maybe finally find someone to marry.

I laughed to myself while walking down the street.

"Maybe a simple girl," I muttered. "Someone kind and peaceful. That kind of life sounds nice."

The traffic light turned green, and I started crossing the road.

Then—

A loud horn exploded in my ears.

HONK!!!

I turned my head.

A massive truck was speeding straight toward me.

My mind froze.

Too fast.

I can't move.

Everything happened in a single second.

CRASH!

Pain.

Then darkness.

My body felt cold… distant… like it wasn't mine anymore.

So this is death… I thought.

A strange calm filled my mind.

"I wish… in my next life… I could live peacefully."

The darkness swallowed everything.

Suddenly…

Voices.

"…sister, listen carefully. I will tell you the secret of the Chakravyuha formation."

My mind jolted awake.

What?

I tried to open my eyes.

I couldn't.

My body wouldn't move.

Where am I?

The voice continued.

"I will explain how to enter the Chakravyuha…"

My heart pounded.

Chakravyuha?

That word felt familiar.

Too familiar.

Slowly, realization crept into my mind like a cold wind.

Wait…

Chakravyuha…

Isn't that from the Mahabharata?

My thoughts spiraled in confusion.

Why am I hearing this?

Who is speaking?

Then suddenly, another terrifying thought appeared in my mind.

No way…

Did I…

Reincarnate?

Before I could think further, an overwhelming sleepiness covered my consciousness.

My mind screamed desperately.

No! Wait!

Don't fall asleep!

But it was too late.

Darkness returned once again.

And my new life had only just begun
