Chapter 20 - The Farewell of a Disciple

Morning arrived quietly at Parshuram's Ashram.

Golden sunlight spread across the mountains of Mahendra, illuminating the training ground where Karna had spent years sharpening his skills.

The same ground where countless arrows had been fired.

The same place where his body had been pushed beyond its limits again and again.

Today felt different.

He could feel it.

Inside his mind—

'My training here… is coming to an end.'

Karna stood alone in the clearing, holding his bow.

His Kavach and Kundal shimmered under the rising sun.

A warm breeze moved through the trees.

Footsteps approached from behind.

Parshuram.

The sage walked slowly toward him, his eyes calm but filled with deep understanding.

"Karna."

Karna immediately bowed deeply.

"Guru."

Parshuram looked at his disciple carefully.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Finally, the sage broke the silence.

"You have learned everything I could teach you."

Karna remained still.

Inside his mind—

'The moment has come.'

Parshuram continued.

"Your archery surpasses even many seasoned warriors."

"Your control over astras is exceptional."

He paused.

Then his voice softened slightly.

"And most importantly… your will is unbreakable."

Karna lowered his head respectfully.

"Everything I have learned is because of you, Guru."

Parshuram shook his head slowly.

"No."

"Talent can be taught."

"But determination cannot."

He placed a hand on Karna's shoulder.

"That strength was always yours."

The morning sunlight grew brighter.

For a moment, the scene felt almost sacred.

Parshuram then stepped back.

His expression became serious again.

"Karna."

"From today onward, your path lies outside this mountain."

Karna slowly looked up.

"The world is filled with powerful warriors."

"Kings will test you."

"Enemies will rise against you."

Parshuram's eyes sharpened.

"But remember this."

"Never lower your bow before injustice."

Karna placed his fist against his chest respectfully.

"I swear it."

Suddenly—

DING

The system appeared once again.

Karna smiled faintly.

Inside his mind—

'The world stage is finally waiting.'

Not far away…

Vrinda stood near the edge of the forest.

She had heard everything.

Her heart felt heavy.

Inside her mind—

'So… he really is leaving.'

Karna packed his belongings shortly after.

His bow.

His arrows.

A small travel bag.

Nothing more.

A true warrior needed little.

As he prepared to leave the ashram…

Vrinda finally walked toward him.

Her steps were hesitant.

Karna noticed her immediately.

He smiled gently.

"Vrinda."

She stopped a few steps away.

For a moment, she didn't speak.

Then she finally asked softly—

"You're leaving today?"

Karna nodded.

"Yes."

Vrinda lowered her eyes.

A small silence passed between them.

Then she forced a smile.

"You're going to become a great warrior."

"Aren't you?"

Karna looked toward the sun rising above the mountains.

His voice was calm.

"I will become the greatest."

Vrinda laughed softly.

"That sounds like you."

But inside her chest—

Her heart hurt slightly.

She reached into her basket and took out something small.

A simple red thread bracelet.

She held it out toward Karna.

"For protection."

Karna looked at the thread for a moment.

Then he accepted it.

He tied it around his wrist.

"Thank you."

Vrinda smiled.

But her eyes were slightly wet.

Meanwhile—

Parshuram watched the scene quietly from the ashram entrance.

Inside his mind—

'Youth and destiny… always intertwined.'

Karna finally turned toward the forest path leading down the mountain.

The path toward the world.

Toward Hastinapur.

Toward destiny.

Before leaving, he bowed one final time toward his teacher.

"Thank you for everything, Guru."

Parshuram raised his hand in blessing.

"Go, Karna."

"Show the world the power of the sun."

Karna took his first step down the mountain.

The journey had begun.

Far away…

In Dwarka, Krishna looked toward the horizon again.

A mysterious smile appeared.

Inside his mind—

'The hero of the sun has started moving.'

'Now the real story begins.'

And somewhere in Hastinapur…

Duryodhana unknowingly waited for the arrival of the warrior who would change his life forever.
