Court clerk email arrived at seven forty-two. Subject: Discovery Extension. Body: Judge granted forty-five day discovery window. Injunction hearing postponed. Parties to exchange financial records and routing documents by next month. Elena closed the tablet. Looked at the calendar. Forty-five days bought breathing room. It also delayed the board freeze. She picked up her phone. Dialed Alexander.

"Court pushed the date," she said. "Discovery window opens. We have time."

"Use it," he replied. "Do not sit on it. The second run needs fabric. You need a primary manufacturer locked before the deadline. I will not hold the supply chain open while you wait on judges."

"I'm moving to the textile bids. Three factories left. Two are pushing for exclusivity. One wants upfront cash. I need terms that scale."
