Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Logomachy Defined

The term logomachy traditionally refers to a dispute about words. In Eurostate the term takes on a far more literal meaning. A logomachy becomes A structured conflict in which language functions as the primary instrument of violence. Participants in this Logomachy are known as wordsmiths. Their battles include rap battles, debates, political speeches, journalistic exposés and public arguments, among others. Each exchange transfers reputation between participants.
