"Hey Lucas, Lucas!" A tall guy is calling someone while looking at me.

"Who's Lucas?" I replied.

"Wait, you look like someone I know." I continued. "Gordon? Aaron Gordon!"

"What's up with the full name? It's just Aaron for you. We've been friends and teammates for almost two years now."

"We are?" I replied.

"Of course bro. Come on, let's warm up and shoot some hoops. If coach TK sees you just sitting there, he'll probably bench you for the entire first half."

I looked to my right and saw a tall white man talking to other people who look like court officials and referees. Then, I turned around and saw some students at the back, mostly girls, talking to one another. While at the opposite side of the court were teenagers and adults, probably parents and relatives of the players, sitting and chatting with each other.

'We're in a basketball arena' I now realized where and what is happening around me.

"Hey, Lucas. Yo, dude!" Aaron called me again. "Why are you spacing out?"

"I need to go to the toilet. I'll take a leak."

"You're nervous?" He laughs. "Relax bro, it's just another game."

"No, I'm not. I just drink a lot of water earlier. Be back in a bit."

"Okay bro. Don't take too long though. Coach will probably tell us something in a couple of minutes."

"Yeah, yeah. I know."

'Truth is, Idon't. I've never been in a situation like this. I played basketball with some friends and participated in a couple of tournaments in our city in my past life. But this? In an arena this big? Hell, no! I'm freaking sweating and I feel like throwing up.'

Lucas ran to the tunnel and searched for the toilet. He found it and entered. First thing he did is wash his face then looked at the mirror in front of him.

He was shocked.

"No way! Yes! Yes! YES!!!" He shouted repeatedly.

He felt like he won the lottery.

A face that's very familiar stared back at him. He had just seen him yesterday on his phone in a video. This guy is SUPERMAN.

Tom Welling, Smallville, Clark Kent but with blonde hair? Huh?

(Click to open)

"It's about damn time." He clicked the chip.

All the memories of who this guy was have been implanted onto Lucas' brain. There wasn't any pain or discomfort at all during the process and it only took about 10 seconds.

"My name is Lucas Davis. My parents are Thomas Davis and Tess Davis. I also have a younger sister named Catherine."

The most unbelievable thing is that, his dad, is Henry Cavill. Lucas' mom is the actress Malin Akerman and his sister is Elle Fanning, a 13 year old girl with a smile that'll melt your heart.

"My dad's 37 and my mom is 42.

Way to go mom!"

Lucas is 15, a sophomore in high school.

He's 6'3, 198 pounds and plays as a shooting guard for the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs.

Aside from the memory restoration chip, he also opened the bonus pack.

Dimer (Bronze Badge)

- When in the half-court, passes to open shooters yield a shot percentage boost.

"This guy is kinda ass. Mostly 60s and 50s. Highest attribute is hustle at 72 but with defenses in their 60s. So it's either HERO or ZERO, a typical high school athlete mindset. I should add my free attributes into shooting for now to help my team win the game."

Ding! Attributes Ugraded

Mid-Range Shot: 67 --> 70 (New!)

Three-Point Shot: 69 --> 75 (New!)

After checking his status and upgrading his attributes, Lucas hurriedly closed the system screen then went to the urinal and did his business. He got out of the toilet and ran back to the arena.

The team was in a huddle when he got back. Lucas got closer and listened to the coach who was giving last minute instructions. Coach Tim Kennedy looked at him for a moment but didn't say anything and continued speaking to the team.

"This is the last and most important game of this season. I've seen the effort you've put in during our practices and the improvements of your skills, individually and as a team. What I just want to ask you guys is to give 100%, in every possession, in both ends of the court. Follow the game plan and all will fall into place. Now, go and win this game."

"Monarchs in 3. 1, 2, 3!" Aaron yelled.

"Monarchs!" Everyone roared.
