Chapter 5 - Random Day

Hi everyone, my name is Abby, I'm 16 years old. We live in a big house. The owner of this house is already dead; according to my grandmother's story, he was allegedly shot in the eye.

This time, around midnight, my three cousins and I were goofing around with my grandmother. One of my cousins begged that we go to our neighbor's house, and my grandmother agreed. So my grandmother stayed in the house while the cousins and I went to the neighbor's place, which was a bit far.

Once we got there, we played. One of our friends—let's call him Charlie—was also with us. While playing, we decided to play a game called "Spirit of the Glass." We got a glass and something like a piece of paper… I'm not really sure, but it was something like what they used for the game.

While playing, all of our hands were on the glass. After a minute, the power went out, so we just carried our flashlight with us. About a minute later, my cousin placed the flashlight by the door, and that's when we saw it.

A presence made itself known—a woman standing by the door, carrying her own head. We immediately asked Charlie's parents for help. But by the time we got to them, it had vanished.

A few minutes later, our grandmother called us and said we should go home because our parents had arrived. So we went home immediately.

When we got home, we were puzzled because our parents weren't there—only our grandmother, crying outside the door. We asked her what happened.

Abby: "Grandma, what happened?"Grandma: "Don't go inside!" (still crying)Abby: "But why, Grandma?"Grandma: "I was just watching TV when something caught my eye in the kitchen—a broken glass. When I looked, I saw the head of a woman in the cupboard, smiling at me! I tried to force my eyes open, but it was still there…"

A few minutes later, our parents arrived. We immediately told them what happened, and they opened the door—but it was gone.

Since then, we've wondered if the woman we accidentally disturbed was the same woman in the cupboard.
