Chapter 2 - chapter 2 ( New Home )

Clara stood in the center of the pink room, staring at everything around her.

The color alone made her jaw tighten.

Pink… I hate it.

Yet as she stepped further inside, something strange happened.

The air felt… different.

Not hostile.

Not dangerous.

Just… familiar.

Her fingers brushed against the desk near the window. For a brief second, a faint warmth spread through her skin — like a pulse responding to her touch.

She paused.

That feeling again.

The same presence from earlier.

The voice.

I healed your wound.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

She had not imagined it.

Someone — or something — was inside her.

And it wasn't afraid.

Clara walked to the mirror in the room. The reflection showed a young wolf girl with soft features and brown eyes.

A completely ordinary appearance.

But her eyes…

They looked calm.

Too calm.

Not like a mentally unstable girl.

Not like the "stupid niece" everyone believed her to be.

They looked like someone calculating.

Someone waiting.

She lifted her hand slowly and stared at her palm.

This body… doesn't feel weak.

The thought surprised her.

As a vampire princess, she had trained her entire life. She knew strength. She knew control. She knew energy.

And yet this body — despite being labeled "weak" — carried something unusual beneath the surface.

A faint rhythm in her blood.

A subtle resistance.

Almost like it was hiding something.

Her lips curved slightly.

If this body truly belonged to a wolf bloodline…

Then it would mean something interesting.

Wolves were known for their instincts.

Their connection to territory.

Their pack bonds.

Their healing.

But she had healed instantly.

Without a wolf.

Without training.

Without explanation.

That wasn't normal.

Which meant one of two things:

Either this body was far more special than anyone realized…

Or something had awakened inside her.

Clara walked to the window and looked outside.

The pack territory.

Wolves moving in the distance.

Laughing.

Living.

Unaware.

Her gaze darkened slightly.

Her brother had taken everything from her.

Her throne.

Her future.

Her life.

And now she was forced into another world.

Another species.

Another identity.

But that didn't matter.

Power was power.

And she would obtain it again.

Slowly.

Quietly.

Without drawing attention.

She would study this pack.

Learn their structure.

Understand their hierarchy.

Find weaknesses.

And when the time was right—

She would rise again.

Not as a vampire princess.

Not as a helpless wolf girl.

But as something no one would see coming.

A soft whisper echoed inside her mind again.

You are not weak.

Clara's eyes flickered.

She didn't respond this time.

Instead, she smiled faintly.

"Good," she murmured under her breath.

Because if there truly was something inside her…

Then she would use it.

Not today.

Not tomorrow.

But when the moment came.

And when it did—

Her enemies would never know what destroyed them.

She turned away from the window and sat on the pink bed, expression calm.

Patient.

Waiting.

For now, she would play the part of the foolish niece.

Let them underestimate her.

Let them believe she had changed.

Revenge was not loud.

Revenge was calculated.

And Clara had always been very good at planning.
