Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Boy Who Has Nothing

In a world where every human is born with a superhuman power…

Weakness was a crime.

Twenty years ago, the jinn appeared openly in the human world.

They were no longer just stories told on dark nights. They became a real force fighting humans for control of the Earth.

From that day, the age of conflict began.

Every child born in this world carries a "Mark of Power".

A mysterious sign that appears when the child turns ten and reveals their special ability:

Fire… lightning… control of wind… enormous physical strength… or rare powers that no one fully understands.

But in a quiet corner of a city tired from endless wars, there was a different place.

The orphanage called "The Silent Star".

There, between old walls and iron beds, a boy named Adam grew up.

He never knew his parents.

They told him he was found as a baby at the orphanage gate on a stormy night, wrapped in a cheap blanket… no note… no name.

The old director was the one who named him.

She always told him:

"The sky chose you to stay alive… and that's enough."

But in this world… that wasn't enough.

Adam was now sixteen years old.

A bit tall, thin, messy black hair, calm gray eyes.

He wasn't the strongest among the children… nor the fastest… nor the smartest.

But he had one thing.

Determination.

In the orphanage courtyard, the kids gathered around a big boy named Samer.

The palm of his hand was burning with small flames.

One child shouted excitedly:

"Samer has third-grade fire power!"

Samer laughed proudly and shot a small fireball into the air.

The kids stepped back, amazed and a little scared.

Then Samer looked at Adam.

He gave a mocking smile.

"And you, Adam? Has your power finally appeared?"

Everyone went quiet.

In this world… not having a power by the age of sixteen was shameful.

Adam lowered his eyes a little and said calmly:

"No."

Samer laughed loudly.

"So you're just… an ordinary human."

Some of the kids laughed with him.

But not everyone.

A small girl named Layla stood next to Adam and said angrily:

"Not everything is about power!"

Samer shrugged.

"In this world? Power is everything."

Then he walked away laughing.

Later, Adam sat on the roof of the orphanage looking at the sky.

There were very few stars… because the smoke from the wars filled the horizon.

Far away, at the edge of the city, a huge black gate could be seen.

They said it was one of the gates from which the jinn come out into the human world.

Adam sighed.

"Everyone has power… why am I the only one who doesn't?"

Suddenly…

A distant explosion roared.

Then the city alarm sounded.

A huge metallic voice echoed in the sky:

"Warning… Level 2 jinn attack."

Adam froze.

This happened sometimes… but never this close to the orphanage.

Then he saw something in the distance.

A black shadow descending over the city.

Two red eyes glowing in the dark.

A jinn.

But this one was not normal.

Even from this distance… Adam felt a terrifying chill.

The creature opened its massive wings… and screamed.

The sound shook the air.

At that moment…

Something trembled inside Adam's chest.

A strange pain… as if his heart was burning.

He fell to his knees.

"What… is this…?"

The ground under his hand began to shake.

Not because of the monster…

But because of him.

And deep inside his body…

Something was waking up.

But Adam didn't know that yet.

In the sky…

The red-eyed jinn smiled.

And looked straight toward the orphanage.

And said in a voice that sounded like it came from hell:

"Finally… I found you."
