Chapter 148 - 148

148: Chapter 148 JunjieThe three of them strolled leisurely along the country lanes outside the Water Country.

Orochimaru walked at the front, his steps leisurely.

Sasuke followed behind, his Kusanagi sword slung across his shoulder, his face still grumpy, temporarily suppressing his thoughts of picking a fight.

Jugo followed silently at the back, occasionally suppressing his restless natural energy.

Along the way, some inconspicuous white aloe vera-like plants would occasionally appear at crossroads, vaguely pointing towards the Land of Hot Springs.

Orochimaru glanced at the road signs, a subtle sneer playing on his lips.

Black Zetsu.still loves playing these little tricks.

This guy clearly has ulterior motives. The Akatsuki organization has already been scattered like this, yet he still hasn't given up.

He saw through it but didn't say anything.Things were different now.Black Zetsu wanted to lure him to the masked man from the Akatsuki organization, and he was happy to go along with it.

Two days later, at the hot spring inn in the land of hot springs, Obito was soaking in the hot spring, still secretly trying his best under the water, but once again it was all in vain.

The Kisame shark kept its head submerged in the water, blowing bubbles incessantly. An animal instinct told it that something was about to happen.

Sure enough, the curtain at the entrance to the hot spring was suddenly lifted by a pale hand.

Orochimaru arrived uninvited, accompanied by Sasuke and Jugo.

Obito suddenly raised his head, his gaze fixed on Orochimaru, the leader, through his mask. His voice was sinister, "Heh.a traitor to Akatsuki, you dare to swagger in front of me?Are you tired of living?Or do you think I can't do anything to you?"

Orochimaru stood at the doorway, his eyes slightly narrowed as he scrutinized the mask. After a moment, he stuck out his tongue and habitually licked his smooth chin, speaking with amusement.

"This furious look doesn't seem like that of Madara Uchiha, who was rumored to have orchestrated the Nine-Tails' attack and remained hidden behind the scenes."

"More like an unlucky brat, filled with impotent rage?"

The tone was tentative, and the words were provocative.

Obito's face turned cold as he let the needle pierce his lung, his one eye unleashing a terrifying killing intent!

"You're fucking asking for it!"

He suddenly flipped over in the water, splashing water everywhere, and punched Orochimaru in the face!

He had been holding it in for too long and desperately needed to vent.

Orochimaru neither dodged nor evaded; his right hand, covered in faint bone armor, shot out like lightning and precisely grabbed Obito's wrist.

With a muffled thud, a shockwave spread out from the two people, causing the towels scattered on the ground to fly everywhere, and the decorative stone lanterns next to them to burst open with cracks.

This sudden turn of events left several young female guests and a few male guests, who were playing and relaxing by the hot spring pool, completely bewildered.

"Oh!"

A piercing scream tore through the air, startling the beautiful woman holding the small wooden basin so much that she dropped it with a clatter to the ground, her face turning pale.

"They're fighting!"

"Run!"

Screams erupted everywhere.

The guests, disregarding their disheveled appearance, scrambled out of the pool, their feet slipping on the wet floor, and rushed in a panic toward the wooden sliding door leading to the other side of the hot spring.

Obito felt as if he had smashed into a steel plate; his wrist was in excruciating pain, and the chakra contained in his fist vanished without a trace.

His pupils contracted, and with his other hand, he formed a hand seal, his Sharingan spinning rapidly, "Fire Release: Storm Dance!"

A surging wave of fire swept out, and the escaping heat instantly charred and burned the bamboo fence beside the hot spring, while steam billowed up from the pool.

Two rows of cone-shaped bone shields, made of countless interwoven bone spikes, rapidly condensed on Orochimaru's chest, covering his entire body.

"laugh"

The flames struck the bone shield, but were completely blocked and diverted, without even burning the hem of Orochimaru's clothes.

Obito, defying all superstition, blurred into a blur, activated Kamui, broke free of his restraints, and a kunai appeared in his hand, thrusting downwards at Orochimaru's neck.

Orochimaru slightly turned his body, his shoulder bone bulging out, and a dark blue light shot out first, heading straight for Obito's vitals.

Obito's face turned pale, and he quickly stopped and retreated, looking utterly disheveled. His back slammed into a wooden pillar supporting the eaves of the corridor by the hot spring with a thud. The pillar groaned under the weight and swayed precariously.

Taijutsu, ninjutsu, Kamui sneak attacks.all his methods seemed pale and powerless in the face of Orochimaru's perfect body.

"Enough!"

Kisame slowly rose from the steam, water droplets sliding down his shark-fin-like hair and muscular body.

With a blank expression, he picked up the Samehada sword, wrapped in bandages, which was leaning against the edge of the pool, and stepped out.

"Orochimaru, this is not your laboratory."

Kisame's voice was like sandpaper rubbing together, and greedy spikes peeked out from the gaps in Samehada's bandages, writhing slightly."If you want to bully Mr.Tobi, you have to ask about Samehada in my hands first."

Orochimaru glanced at Kisame with interest and chuckled, "Mr.Kisame, you're still as loyal as ever. It's a pity your opponent.is him."

Before he finished speaking, Jugo's swollen fist, covered in dark patterns, slammed directly towards Kisame with a fierce gust of wind!

Kisame swung Samehada to block!

"clang!"

A heavy crash resounded, and the waves surged once more.

Kisame staggered back into the pool after being hit, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes, as if he hadn't expected Jugo's power to be so strong.

The two instantly became entangled in combat, Samehada's bites colliding with Jugo's ferocious fists, each clash shattering the rocks at the bottom of the spring and splashing water everywhere.

Sasuke, who had been standing idly by, suddenly started sneer, now holding the Kusanagi sword.

He strolled closer, gracefully sidestepping to avoid a panicked woman who nearly clung to him, wearing only a bath towel.

"waste."

His crimson Sharingan swept over Obito with a condescending disdain.

"You can't even handle this stinky snake, yet you dare to impersonate Uchiha Madara? You're a disgrace to the Uchiha name."

Obito turned his head and stared intently at Sasuke, his anger almost making him faint.

First he was suppressed by Orochimaru, and now he's being mocked by this junior Uchiha. He feels like his sanity is about to collapse. It's broken.

"Uchiha, Sasuke!"

Obito's voice was hoarse, and the glow on his body activated prematurely due to his excitement, "You want to try it too?"

Sasuke didn't even bother to reply. He simply raised his chin slightly, and his Sharingan, nourished by the First Hokage's cells and now brimming with even greater power, slowly rotated as he met Obito's gaze without flinching.

A few minutes later, Obito knelt on the ground, panting heavily, his bathrobe disheveled, his face under the mask contorted with extreme humiliation.

Orochimaru shook the water droplets off his hands, and the bone spurs slowly retracted into his body: "Now, can we talk about cooperation properly, Lord Uchiha Madara?" His words were full of sarcasm.

Obito clenched his fists tightly and remained silent for a full minute before finally speaking in a low voice, "Fine, how do you want to talk?"
