Chapter 160 - 160

160: Chapter 160 DuskIn the afterglow of the setting sun.

Naruto walked slowly along the coastline.

He was wearing only a loose white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and the sea breeze ruffled the stray hairs on his forehead.

"Naruto~"

A warm and familiar female voice came from behind.

Before Naruto could turn around, a soft, tall figure pounced on him from behind, wrapping her arms tightly around him and pressing her entire body against his back.

"Got you!"

Ino whispered softly in his ear, her breath sweet.

Naruto paused for a moment, then patted the hand wrapped around his waist: "Ino?What brings you here?"

"What, you're not welcoming me?"

Ino peeked out from behind him, resting her chin on his shoulder.

"Hasn't the relationship between Konoha and the Chamber of Commerce improved recently?I finally managed to get permission to leave the village, and the first thing I did was come to find you!"

Naruto turned around, and Ino was still holding him tightly, looking up at him with joy.

"Of course you're welcome."

Naruto smoothed her long hair."It was just a bit sudden."

I miss you!

Ino finally let go, took a half step back, opened her arms and spun around, her skirt tracing a beautiful arc in the setting sun.

"How do I look?Don't I look even more beautiful?"

"Yes, indeed." Naruto nodded."It's getting better and better."

"Hmph!Smooth talker!Oh dear!"

Before she could finish speaking, her foot slipped, she stepped on wet seaweed, and her head fell backward.

Naruto reached out and put his arm around her waist, pulling her back into his embrace.

Ino grabbed Naruto's collar, looking at him with bright, watery eyes.

"Be careful," Naruto said.

"...oh."

Ino responded and hugged Naruto again.

Her gaze slowly shifted from Naruto's eyes to his lips, eager to try.

Just as the atmosphere began to become delicate.

"President!"

Hei Tu walked briskly along the beach, carrying a brown robe in his hand.

She wore a light gray skirt with a white shirt today, and her hair was tied in a high ponytail, making her look very refreshing.

Upon getting closer, seeing Ino still holding Naruto in his arms, he couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

"It's windy tonight, please put on another layer of clothing."

As Kurotsuchi spoke, her gaze shifted to Ino, "And who is this?"

"Yamanaka Ino, the ninja of Konoha, is my friend."

Naruto took the outer robe."Ino, this is Kurotsuchi, the security advisor who recently joined the Chamber of Commerce."

"hello."

Ino greeted him with a smile, but couldn't help thinking to herself, "Heh, a security advisor? He's really young."

Kurotsuchi replied with a smile, "The chairman often mentions his friends from Konoha, and today I finally meet them."

Naruto put on his outer robe and interrupted the strange standoff: "Ino just arrived, I'll show her around.Kurotsuchi, you should go back first."

"yes."

Hei Tu nodded obediently and turned to leave.

After walking a few steps, she couldn't help but look back again.

As the sun set, Naruto and Ino walked side by side on the beach, their blond hair shimmering in the afterglow. They chatted occasionally, with Ino laughing so hard she almost fell over, and even playfully slapping Naruto's arm.

Intimate and natural, a completely different state from her interactions with Naruto.

Hei Tu pursed his lips, turned around, and walked back quickly.

With each step I take, the fire in my heart burns even brighter.

I will kill you someday.

She repeated this sentence to herself over and over again, as if to strengthen her resolve.

But when she pushed open the door to her room, stood in front of the mirror, and saw the marks that had not yet completely faded, her body reacted before her mind could.

My fingers gently traced the red marks, then slowly slid down, unbuttoning the first button of my shirt, then the next.

The beauty in the mirror had flushed cheeks and captivating eyes.

Hei Tu suddenly came to his senses and slapped himself hard.

Wake up!

She hissed at the mirror, "He's your enemy! He killed your comrades from Iwagakure! He's toying with you!"

She longed to see Naruto.

She longed for that kind of closeness that she both hated and succumbed to.

Hei Tu muttered to himself, raising his hand to cover his face.

"I'm going crazy."

She collapsed onto the bed and buried her face in the pillow.

"No.Kurotsuchi, you can't do this."

Tears welled up in her eyes; she couldn't tell whether they were from humiliation or disgust at the anticipation.

Meanwhile, deep within the caves of Yu-no-Kuni.

Obito sat cross-legged on the cold ground, his mask placed aside, revealing his patchwork face that was unusually smooth and flat.

Chakra circulates within the body; it is yin, cold, and viscous, like water in an underground river.

It's been three days already.

Ever since that day when his body underwent a dramatic transformation, he had maintained this posture, familiarizing himself with this new body and this new power.

The divine flying needles move as easily as an arm or finger.

His ghostly movements were completely at his command.

But that's not enough.

He needs the power to completely turn everything around.

The chakra of the six tailed beasts has been collected and sealed inside the Gedo Mazo.

According to the original plan, once all nine were collected, the Infinite Tsukuyomi could be activated, creating a world with Rin.

However, now that Nagato has been captured and his Rinnegan has been taken away, the Gedo Mazo can no longer be summoned.

"Rinnegan."

Those were originally Madara's eyes, the key to unlocking the Eye of the Moon Project.

Those eyes are definitely in Naruto's hands now.

That cunning fellow would never leave something so important lying around.

The most likely location is the Chamber of Commerce headquarters, Naruto's own residence, or some absolutely secure secret room.

Obito's thoughts gradually became clearer.

Now that his strength has greatly increased, his first priority is to find a way to steal back the Rinnegan.

With the Rinnegan, he can resummon the Gedo Mazo and continue the Eye of the Moon Project.

As for what happens to my body.it doesn't matter.

As long as we can create a world with Lin, as long as we go to that world, everything will be wonderful.

Whether this body is male or female, human or ghost, what does it matter?

thinkSuddenly, Obito felt happy.

He stood up, stretched his limbs, and felt so light that he couldn't feel any weight.

He walked to the edge of the pool in the cave and leaned down to look at the reflection on the water.

The faces in the water were blurry, and only their general outlines could be seen.

Obito reached out and touched his face.

"Fine, I'm perfect for stealing now."

In Konoha Village, Kurenai Yuhi packed her ninja tool bag, checked the mission scrolls, took a deep breath, and pushed open the door to her house.

She received an urgent B-level mission to escort a batch of important scroll supplies to the border post of the Land of Fire.

The mission itself isn't too difficult, but the route passes through an area that's been quite turbulent lately, where wandering ninjas are said to roam frequently.

She shook her head, didn't think much of it, and changed into the bandage chainmail that allowed for easier movement.

He quickly packed up, turned around, walked out of the Konoha gate, and joined the transport team.

The first half of the escort mission went smoothly.

The caravan consisted of five horse-drawn wagons, carrying medicine, cloth, and some tactical supplies.

Kurenai led three Chunin guards to keep watch at the front and back of the convoy, while she herself sat on the roof of the lead carriage, carefully observing her surroundings.

As dusk fell, the convoy entered a maple forest.

The fiery red maple leaves, like burning flames under the setting sun, are breathtakingly beautiful.

But it was also eerily quiet.

Hong frowned and raised her hand to signal the convoy to slow down.

It's too quiet.

There wasn't even a bird chirping, and she felt something was wrong.

"Everyone, be on alert!"

Before the words were even finished!

A rustling sound came from the maple trees on both sides of the road, and countless pink smoke billowed out from the tree trunks, instantly enveloping the entire convoy!

"There's an ambush!"

Hong quickly held her breath, but it was too late.

The moment the pink smoke touched the skin, it brought a strange burning sensation, and then quickly penetrated into it.

It's not poison.

Hong immediately realized that if it was poison, her anti-poison training should be able to withstand it for a while.

This is.something else.

My body started to heat up, my cheeks were burning, and my heart was racing uncontrollably.

My vision blurred, my mind was a jumbled mess, and all sorts of images kept popping up uncontrollably.

Asma's face.

Kai's smile.

Sweat on the training field.

"Lord Red!"

The ninja's shout pulled her back to reality.

Red bites the tip of her tongue, using the pain to wake herself up, and directs the Chunin guards beside her to release Wind Release to dispel the smoke.

The strong winds dispersed some of the pink smoke, but more smoke continued to billow out from the ground and the treetops.

At that moment, the attackers appeared.

Eight rogue ninjas wearing tattered headbands rushed out of the woods, their faces bearing lewd smiles.

"Hehe, I didn't expect her to be such a beautiful female ninja."

"Kurenai Yuhi of Konoha, the expert in illusions, unfortunately she's going to fall into our hands today."

"This Drunken Dream Smoke is a real treat. We brothers are in for a treat today, hehehe."

Before he could finish speaking, a red kunai had already been shot in front of him.

The battle erupted instantly.

Despite the strange sensations in her body, Hong used her signature illusion techniques to fight back, quickly taking down several opponents.

But the effect of the pink smoke grew stronger and stronger, and the enemy in front of her was sometimes unfamiliar, sometimes Asuma, and sometimes Kai, and she herself was in a daze.

"Get out of my way!"

Hong delivered another powerful punch, sending one enemy flying, but another enemy pounced from the side. She couldn't dodge in time and suffered a cut on her shoulder.

The pain brought her back to a little more consciousness.

This can't go on.

"Everyone, protect the convoy, retreat!"

Hong gave the order, simultaneously forming hand seals in preparation for unleashing a large-scale illusion.

Just before she finished forming the hand seals, an enemy suddenly threw a handful of white powder at her.

Red could close her eyes, but the powder still got on her skin.

An even stronger heat surged through my entire body.

Her legs went weak and she knelt on one knee.

My vision went completely blurred.

Asma.Kai.The two figures overlapped before my eyes, separated, and overlapped again.

"Lord Red!"

A Chunin tried to rush over to save her, but was entangled by two rogue ninjas.

Hong gritted her teeth and stood up, but her body was no longer under her control.

A stubble-faced enemy ninja walked towards her with a wicked grin.

"It's over, my beauty.I'll cherish you dearly."

Just as his hand touched Hong's body.

"Konoha Power Cyclone!"

A green gale descended from the sky!

Bang!

The bearded man was kicked away, crashing through three maple trees before coming to a stop. His chest was caved in, and he was clearly not going to live.

Kai landed, stood in front of Hong, and turned his back to her.

The green bodysuit stood out starkly against the pink smoke.

"Kai…" Hong murmured.

"I'm sorry I'm late!"

Kai didn't turn around, his voice calm as he said, "Leave the rest to me!"

"Fifth Gate of Du - Open!"

A surge of green chakra energy erupted from Guy's body.

The next two minutes were a one-sided massacre.

Kai's figure weaved through the enemy ninjas, each punch and kick carrying a howling, violent power.

The sounds of bones shattering echoed throughout the room, and the screams of the rogue ninjas rang out briefly before quickly ceasing.

The battle ended when the last rogue ninja's spine was shattered by a single elbow strike from Guy, and he collapsed to the ground.

Kai closed the Eight Gates Formation, panting as he turned around.

"Hong, are you alright?"

He froze before he could finish speaking.

Hong was leaning against the carriage, her cheeks flushed, exuding a seductive charm, and breathing rapidly.

Her headband was askew, her hair was disheveled, and her clothes were torn in several places during the fight, revealing her pink skin underneath.

The most dangerous thing was that she was looking at Kai with something in her eyes that Kai had never seen before.

"Kai…" Hong called softly, her voice so gentle it could melt water.

"Hong, you…" Kai swallowed hard."You've been poisoned by that strange smoke.I'm taking you back to find it now."Medical team.

Hong shook her head, leaning gently against him, her cheeks burning hot.

"It's too late~ There's a cave behind us, take me there."

He looked at her flushed face and misty eyes, then at the approaching enemies around them, gritted his teeth, and picked her up.

He walked quickly toward the cave indicated by the red sign, his heart pounding with each step.

She squirmed restlessly in Kai's arms, her hot breath spraying onto Kai's neck.

"Kai.it hurts so much.please help me."

Kai finally found a place and rushed in with Hong in his arms.

The cave wasn't large, but it was deep enough, dry inside, and relatively safe.

He put Red on the ground and turned to go back to Konoha to find a medical ninja.

"Don't go."

"Kai…" Hong leaned back, wrapped her arms around his neck, and coiled herself around him like a snake, "Help me…"

Her lips kissed me; they were warm, soft, and sweet.

Kai froze. He might not be as knowledgeable as Kakashi in some areas, but he wasn't completely clueless either.

Hong called out again, this time with a sob in her voice, "Please, help me, I can't take it anymore."

Their eyes met.

Time seemed to stand still.

Then, Hong closed her eyes.

Night was falling.

The cave was completely silent, except for the crackling of the campfire.

Kai sat by the fire, wearing a coat, his face showing a conflicted expression—guilt, unease, and a barely concealed secret joy.

Not far away, Hong was curled up in the blanket and had fallen into a deep sleep.

She was sleeping soundly, her breathing steady, the blush on her face had faded, leaving only a tired and peaceful expression.

Kai looked at her, his heart filled with mixed emotions.

He dared not think about it anymore.

He will respect whatever decision Hong makes.

But if Red is willing.

Hong frowned in her sleep, turned over, and mumbled something.

Kai held his breath and waited until she fell asleep again before he breathed a sigh of relief.

He hugged his knees, watching the flickering flames, a silly grin on his face, and slowly fell asleep.
