Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Bern, Switzerland.

Christmas Day.

In this season of biting winds, hibernating life, and pedestrians forced to bundle up in thick winter coats just to step outside, a man stood on the rooftop of a luxury hotel, dressed in punk-style clothing. His crooked frame and slightly hunched back swayed under the freezing wind, as if he could collapse at any moment.

A closer look revealed a gaunt, skeletal face already covered in frost.

If not for the constant grinding of his tightly clenched teeth from the extreme cold, no one would have doubted that this man was already frozen to death.

"I transmigrated?!"

A moment later, as the man opened his eyes again, a sharp light flashed within them. Then, as if unable to believe it, he looked down at his own body and spoke.

In the next second, countless memories flooded into his mind.

Because of the massive influx of memories, the man immediately clutched his head and crouched down, unable to endure the pain bursting through his brain.

No one knew how much time had passed.

Only after finally calming down did the man slowly rise to his feet again.

"Killian?! The owner of Extremis?"

"I really never thought that one day I'd become one of those transmigrators, and on top of that, I even transmigrated into a major villain."

At that thought, he could not help muttering inwardly.

'Ding. Host detected online. Beginning binding process for the Black Tech System of the Myriad Worlds.'

'Binding in progress... 1%... 25%... 50%...'

'100%.'

'Ding. Binding complete. Respected Host, the Black Tech System of the Myriad Worlds is at your service.'

At that moment, a mechanical voice suddenly rang out in Killian's mind. Before he could even react, it had already begun the binding process on its own.

By the time the system announced that the binding was complete, not even a blink had passed. It was so fast that Killian had barely processed what happened.

"A system?!"

Hearing the voice in his head, Killian muttered in disbelief.

He had originally thought he had gotten the standard villain transmigration template.

Instead, it had now become a villain transmigration system template.

And it was even focused on the technology route.

"Host, all you need to do is immerse your consciousness into your mind."

At that moment, the system reminded him.

After hearing that, Killian closed his eyes and emptied his thoughts. Then his entire being appeared inside a sealed room that resembled a server chamber. The only difference was that, aside from Killian himself, there was also a floating screen suspended in midair.

[Black Tech System of the Myriad Worlds]

[Host: Aldrich Killian]

[Prestige: 1000]

[Technology Store (Level 1): Unlockable (1000/1000)]

[Technologies Pending Unlock: None]

[Unlocked Technologies: None]

Displayed above were Killian's current authority and status within the system.

"What is system prestige?"

After seeing that he had already started with a thousand prestige points the moment he obtained the system, Killian could not help asking.

"Prestige is the measure of actual influence spread among intelligent lifeforms through the host's own impact."

"The acquisition of prestige includes, but is not limited to, the spread of the host's personal influence, as well as the usage and impact of items created through system technologies by intelligent beings."

The system promptly answered Killian's question.

"So in other words, as long as I know how to put on a show like those capitalists, and then release products from my company for people to use, I can earn prestige points?"

After hearing the system's explanation, Killian immediately asked.

"Yes."

After receiving the system's confirmation, Killian instantly understood.

Then, looking at the screen above, he directly selected the unlock button behind the Technology Store.

As the store unlocked, Killian saw the previously gray marketplace suddenly fill with all kinds of dazzling technologies.

From small things like portable lithium batteries and underwater oxygen masks, to major technologies such as Terminators, exoskeleton armor, and the T-Virus.

There were even genetic maps.

However, at his current level, the only ones he could see were for relatively simple organisms, such as anacondas and gorillas.

For some reason, though, everything in the genetic map category was absurdly expensive. At the same price, he estimated he could probably unlock cutting-edge technology instead.

Still, none of those things were what Killian currently needed, so he only glanced at them before moving on.

He knew that, based on the system's prestige rules and his current situation, what he needed right now was a simple high-tech product that also fit mass public demand.

His private investment company had money, but it could not withstand excessive spending.

Afterward, Killian selected the four technologies most suitable for himself from the pile of available products.

First, Resident Evil T-Virus, Serum Version: It possesses the ability to strengthen and recombine biological genetic factors. It is a demonic product originally created for the development of bio-weapons. However, most organisms suffer severe side effects. Under the direct effect of the virus, parts of the cerebral cortex undergo necrosis, causing a serious decline in intelligence.

Second, Neural Control Bio-Chip: It can monitor the discharge activity of various sensory nerve bundles in the host body, remotely interfere with different types of nerve cells, obtain sensory information from the human brain, and control human behavior.

Third, Metal Gear High-Frequency Vibration Blade: A sword enhanced by a powerful alternating current and resonating at an extremely high vibration frequency. This oscillation weakens the molecular bonds of anything it cuts, greatly increasing its cutting power and allowing it to easily tear through high-strength alloys.

Fourth, Big Hero 6 Baymax, Basic Version: A caregiver-type intelligent inflatable medical robot. It comes with built-in life sign scanning, a database of up to ten thousand kinds of medical knowledge, the ability to provide certain forms of medical assistance, and a four-core chip slot system that can be customized with different chips depending on specific needs.
