Varun walks upto the cathedral and was met with the quest window.
[Floor 672 quest: "hell wolf volzard"
Reward: next floor ticket, hell sword (flame aspect), exclusive skill: beast tamer]
Varun:"beast tamer?.... What will I do with the beast tamer skill... The NPC monsters can't be talked to and be tamed... And there are no monsters in real life for me to look for."
"Wait,... Now that I think about it... I have read many novels with time travel concept... There's always a thing... Some concept... Urgh.. I forgot the name... What was it.... The effect that comes when you change the past?..... Cheese?... Why would it be cheese?... You can't eat it.... Butter... Oh!... Butterfly effect.... Yeah... That's what it was."
"If I remember clearly, and even if I don't.... I know that there was never a single time when someone had used magic in reality... Neither had I ever used magic myself in the past... So... I wonder if something had changed really in the world?"

He walks forward and got faced by a big wolf with metal fangs, the wolf was as big as half the size of the cathedral.
"Well... I'll be damned if I wasn't at level 174...this guy is about level 140 or so."
The giant wolf howls and starts circling around varun.
"Why do all these animals circle around before attacking?... Now this guy will go around me and the jump at me when he comes back In front of me."
Varun looks at the wolf with a sigh.
"Is it a 'he or she'?... Why am I even asking that?"
He questions himself while scratching his head. Meanwhile, the wolf circles around and leaped towards him and he just walked to the side, the wolf stared in shock and flailing in midair before falling right on the ground with his head hitting the rock, it sits up, it's head spinning from the hit.
The wolf then shakes it's head with a whimper and looks back at varun, who was now standing under it and staring between it's rear legs. The wolf gets shy and rans away, hiding behind the ruined building wall.
Varun looks at it in confusion because for what he thought was that, that these monster were all NPCs and can't feel anything, but here he was.... With a wolf like monster, towering him acting like a big shy dog.
"Oh,.... You're a male... Uhh,.. You're quite shy for both males and monsters bro."
The wolf whimpered and came back out, but his large tail was between his leg, covering his privates.
Varun was amused by seeing a monster being so self conscious about it's visible private area, especially a wolf at that.
"Haha, well, now this is something that I didn't expected to see... But this won't do."
He pulls out his short swords from his inventory. Both the blades were black and were glowing red, varun's eyes narrowed darkly as he lost the amusement. His eyes glowing a deep shade of blue.
The wolf trembled and took a few steps back before running away but–
Varun couldn't let it get away because of the next floor ticket.. So.. He lunged and came right in front of the wolf, cutting it open from his jaw to tail straight and lands down on the ground, the Wolf's body falls down.
He stares at the Wolf's fallen body and then looked at the quest window, his eyes widens when he sees that the quest still stayed uncompleted.
"Wha–?... What the?... I just killed that thin–ugh?!"
The wolf disappeared and a new wolf appears in front of the cathedral... As big as the cathedral.
This is when Varun realizes that he didn't see the name tag above the wolf that he just killed. But, the one that appeared just now... It was flaming on its back, the fangs as big as a two story building, as sharp and pointed as a well driller.
He looks at it and saw its name tag on its head and the level on the quest screen.

"2-?.. 200?... that's.... I haven't even touched 190 yet... And where the heck was this thing when I was killing the cute one?"
He clicks his tongue and took a alert position with his short swords raised up.
"It's do or die, I can't skip this quest either... This system really wants me dead or what?"
As he was thinking, the wolf lunged at him with a blurring speed and comes in front of him with its fangs about to crush his head with a bite.
The time seemed to be frozen for him, he was looking at the mouth and all the surroundings with all his mental speed and jumps to right... He manages to survive but his left leg come in the bite of the wolf, who yanks him and threw to the cathedral. Varun hits on the wall and falls down, the wall broke from the impact and the rubbles fell on him.
He sits up with a pained grunt and looks at the wolf, who had his torn off leg hanging on its jaw from his fang.
He winces and stares at his torn off leg, then he uses the health recovery reward that he gets from the daily quests.
"Full recovery"
His leg regenerates and the other wounds also heal up. He just gets up and looked at the wolf with a twisted amusement.
He grabs his own jaw in confusion, as the smile spread across his face, shaping the mask's cloth on it. He was wondering to himself.
"Why?.. Why am I smiling?... I barely survived just now... So, why?... It's been 7 months since I am stuck here and not a single time did I ever got a scratch here... But suddenly, this quest had took a complete 180 from what I've gone through in the lower floors. This isn't a boring fight that I need to clear... This is... An opportunity to go beyond what I've been going through till now."
"I am... Freaking aroused right now!"
The wolf took a step forward as the hanging leg fall from his fang to the ground and he lunged again, but this time.
Varun didn't run but, instead of taking a alert position, he lunged along with the wolf and towards it... The wolf opens its jaw to eat him alive but, varun leaps and uses it's fang to push himself to the side with his leg.
He stops himself on a building wall and jumps back at the wolf, spinning himself with the dual short swords and cuts on the Wolf's nape.
The wolf falls down from the sudden pain but stands back up, the flames on its back covered his wound and healed the area.
Varun lands on the ground and looks at the wolf, who turns towards him with a pained growl and lunges with full force towards him.
Once again Varun runs towards him but, this time he pulls out a potion vial from the system and breaks it on himself.

He runs way faster and cuts the legs of the wolf. But the flames comes to cover the wounded legs and heals them back.
"This thing's healing is out of the world... Well,... That means I have to kill it before it can heal."
He spins one blade and runs back at the wolf.. This time using his extra skills from the system.

He slashes the wolf.. Not once , not twice, not thrice.. He just... Kept slicing it alive until the system window popped up with the death message.
"AARRRRGGHHHHHHHH!!"

He stood there, looking at the system window before falling down and sitting on the ground. His breathing ragged and his clothes covered in black muddy blood of the wolf.
He took a moment to breath and then started to laugh.
"Haha.. Hah... That was... Something... It's been a while since I enjoyed myself like this... So, this is what people meant by enjoyment when you you become stronger... You just want to use all the strength somewhere without getting bored."
He stands up as the monster corpse and the blood on him evaporates away.
"Let's get going then.... I want to see what's on the higher floors now... This one has stirred a next level of dopamine in my brain."
[10 months later]
He had been fighting through the floors more hardly this time. The monsters were all +10 or +20 above his level in each floor and yet he managed to pass through them all, thanks to his twisted sense of amusement towards the deadly encounters.
On the way, he had fought a large sword and shield holding titan, an horde of orgs, a army or headless human corpse running on all four like reptiles, a demon king With black scaled skin and waves of elite demons who had red armours.
He was currently on the cathedral of floor 899 and gives the ticket to the statue.
The statue looks at the ticket and responds.
Statue:"you may not pass through this floor."
Varun's eyes widened and he looks at the statue with shock and asks.
Varun:"wha–.. What do you mean I can't pass through this floor?... I have the ticket.. So why can't I?"
The statue's eyes scrutinize at Varun as it says.
Statue:"because.... You are a man."
Varun hears the statue and blinks a few times... There was complete silence for few minutes before he asks.
Varun:"wh–.. What does me being a man have to do with floor?... This place is made for me.. So I should be able to pass thr–"
The statue grunts and interrupts him from talking further and responds with.
Statue:"only a woman or a teenager child can pass through this floor.... From floor 900 to 1000 can only be accessed by a female or a child."
Varun looks at the statue and blinks again. Then he starts to chuckle to himself and says.
Varun:"well.. That's good then... Because whatever my mental age is... Currently I am 17."
The statue looks at him again and puts the ticket in the grail. Sending him to the next floor.
Statue:"very well.... If the child wishes for it, they may go through it."
Varun looks at the magic circle and thinks to himself.
Varun:"it's not entirely a lie, but it's not true either.... I've lived my 19 years off life once... But, that day I got sent back by who 6 years,.... I've lived two years forward already but that just makes my body age about 15 ... And it's been 1 year and a month since I have been here in this tower.... Even if I didn't grow physically.. It should mean that I am 16 years old now.... But that's way to absurd to tell even to this statue... Well, even 17 years is too absurd, given that my body kinda look like a guys in mid 20s ... I have surely grown up quite a lot compared to my time as a immature loser.... I won't lie..... I still have a long way to grow mature."
