The Goblin Shaman screamed as Min-Jae closed the distance.
It tried to cast another spell.
Too slow.
The metal rod slammed into its arm.
The staff fell to the ground.
The monster shrieked in rage and swung its claws.
Min-Jae barely dodged.
Its claws sliced the air inches from his face.

This one was much faster than the others.
The shaman began chanting again.
Dark energy gathered in its mouth.
Min-Jae activated his skill again.
"System Glitch!"
But the system answered differently this time.

The shaman's curse fired.
A black projectile shot toward him.
Min-Jae rolled behind a car as the spell exploded against the metal door.
The vehicle twisted from the impact.
Min-Jae's eyes sharpened.
"So that's how it is."
No shortcuts.
No instant victory.
Only one chance.
He picked up the fallen staff.
Then rushed forward again.
"This time…"
"I'm ending it."
