Chapter 2 - Chapter 2:Three Claims

Darkness wrapped around Lyra like a suffocating blanket.

But even in unconsciousness… she wasn't alone.

Warmth.

No—three different kinds of warmth surrounded her.

Her wolf stirred weakly, restless, drawn to them.

"Move your hand."

The voice was sharp. Controlled. Dangerous.

"Make me."

Another voice answered, colder—challenging.

Lyra's brows furrowed slightly as the tension around her thickened.

"You don't get to touch her like you own her," the second Alpha said, his tone steady but laced with warning.

A low chuckle followed.

"That's funny," the third voice rumbled. "Because the bond says otherwise."

The air cracked.

Power surged violently, pressing against the forest like an invisible storm.

"Enough."

The first Alpha's voice cut through them both—final, commanding.

"Fight later. She's collapsing."

Silence fell again.

But it wasn't peaceful.

It was the kind of silence that came before war.

Lyra stirred, her body trembling as faint awareness returned.

Her head throbbed. Her chest felt tight.

And the scent—

It surrounded her.

Strong. Overwhelming.

Three different scents tangled together, pulling at something deep inside her.

Her eyes fluttered open.

The first thing she saw…

was him.

Silver eyes. Watching her like she was something rare. Something claimed.

"You're awake."

His voice dropped, softer now—but still heavy with authority.

Lyra tried to move—

and realized she couldn't.

Her body was weak… but that wasn't what scared her.

It was the way all three of them were looking at her.

Like she belonged to them.

"Stay back."

The amber-eyed Alpha stepped forward slightly, placing himself between her and the others.

"She's overwhelmed."

"She's mine too," the dark one snapped, golden eyes flashing.

"We'll tear each other apart before this works," the second Alpha muttered under his breath.

Lyra's heart began to race again.

"S-stop…"

Her voice came out barely above a whisper.

All three froze instantly.

Three powerful Alphas… silenced by her voice.

Her breath hitched.

"I don't understand…" she said weakly, her gaze flickering between them.

"This… this isn't possible."

The silver-eyed Alpha stepped closer again, slower this time. Careful.

"It shouldn't be," he admitted quietly.

His eyes darkened.

"But you felt it."

Lyra swallowed hard.

She had.

And that terrified her more than the rogues ever could.

Because those bonds…

weren't breaking.

They were tightening.
