Chapter 11 - The Trinity Awakens

The rooftop exploded with light.

Silver energy surged outward from Kael like a rising tide, washing across the cracked concrete and broken steel structures surrounding the building. The air vibrated violently, as though reality itself struggled to contain the sudden eruption of power.

For a moment, even the demon hesitated.

Its massive claws scraped against the rooftop as it recoiled slightly from the expanding glow.

The creature's burning eyes narrowed.

It recognized the energy.

Or perhaps it feared it.

Below, the streets of Sector Nine trembled as the surge of power spread through the district like a silent shockwave.

Windows shattered across nearby buildings.

Drone surveillance systems flickered violently as their sensors struggled to record the energy spike.

And on the rooftop—

Three figures stood at the center of the storm.

Kael stood motionless, his hand still raised.

Silver light wrapped around his body like flowing ribbons.

His dark hair moved gently despite the absence of wind.

His grey eyes glowed faintly with something ancient.

Something powerful.

Something that had been asleep for a very long time.

Orion landed beside him with a heavy impact.

The pavement cracked under his boots.

Electricity still danced across his arms, flickering like living lightning.

For the first time since the fight began—

Orion looked genuinely shocked.

"Well… that's new."

Lucien reformed from crimson mist a few steps away.

The vampire prince studied the silver energy with intense focus.

His expression had become serious.

Very serious.

Because what he was seeing—

What he was feeling—

Matched something buried deep within ancient vampire archives.

Legends whispered only among the oldest bloodlines.

Lucien's voice was quiet.

"Celestial resonance…"

Kael blinked slowly.

The glowing energy around him flickered slightly as his concentration broke.

"What?"

But before anyone could explain—

The demon roared again.

The creature's hesitation vanished instantly.

It lunged forward with terrifying speed.

Its massive claws slammed downward toward Kael.

Orion reacted instantly.

Lightning exploded from his body.

He intercepted the attack head-on.

His fist collided with the demon's arm.

Thunder cracked across the district.

The impact pushed Orion backward several meters, his boots carving deep grooves into the rooftop.

"Okay," Orion muttered, shaking his hand slightly.

"That thing hits hard."

The demon swung its other claw.

Lucien moved faster than the human eye could follow.

He vanished into crimson mist.

The claw sliced harmlessly through empty air.

Lucien reappeared behind the creature.

His eyes burned like molten rubies.

He extended one hand calmly.

Blood from dozens of small wounds across the demon's body lifted into the air.

It twisted into thin razor-sharp blades.

With a small flick of his fingers—

The blades launched forward.

They sliced across the demon's armored hide.

The creature roared in pain.

Dark blood splattered across the rooftop.

But the wounds closed almost instantly.

Lucien frowned slightly.

"Regeneration."

Orion cracked his neck.

"Of course it has regeneration."

The demon swung again.

Its claws smashed through the rooftop barrier where Lucien had been standing moments earlier.

Concrete shattered.

Steel bent like paper.

Orion dashed forward again.

Lightning burst around him like a living storm.

His body moved with explosive speed.

He struck the demon's chest.

Then its jaw.

Then its side.

Each hit landed with thunderous force.

Electric arcs spread across the monster's body.

But the demon refused to fall.

It grabbed Orion with one massive hand.

Orion's eyes widened slightly.

"Well—"

The creature slammed him into the rooftop.

Hard.

The entire building shook.

Dust erupted into the air.

Kael's heart skipped.

"Orion!"

The demon raised its claw again.

Preparing to strike.

Lucien appeared instantly.

He caught the demon's arm before it could fall.

His strength was immense.

But the creature's size gave it a brutal advantage.

The two forces struggled against each other for a moment.

Lucien's calm expression tightened slightly.

Then—

Kael moved.

He stepped forward without thinking.

The silver energy around him flared again.

The warmth in his chest surged outward.

His hand lifted instinctively.

"Stop."

The word wasn't shouted.

It wasn't even loud.

But the moment it left his lips—

Reality responded.

Silver light shot outward like a wave.

It struck the demon directly.

For one impossible second—

The massive creature froze.

Completely still.

Its claws suspended mid-air.

Its burning eyes locked onto Kael.

Orion pushed the demon's grip off him and rolled to his feet.

He stared at Kael.

"…Did you just freeze a demon?"

Kael looked equally surprised.

"I… don't know."

Lucien's eyes gleamed with dangerous fascination.

But the moment didn't last.

The demon roared again.

It broke free from the invisible force holding it.

But something had changed.

The creature's movements had slowed slightly.

The silver energy continued wrapping around its body like invisible chains.

Lucien spoke calmly.

"Your power is disrupting its connection."

Kael frowned.

"Connection to what?"

Lucien didn't answer immediately.

Instead, he turned his gaze toward the distant skyline.

Toward the direction of the abandoned factory.

"Whoever summoned it."

Orion wiped dust from his jacket.

"Well, that explains the attitude."

The demon charged again.

But this time—

Orion and Lucien moved together.

Lightning exploded from Orion's fists.

Crimson blades formed in Lucien's hands.

Storm and blood collided against the monster from both sides.

The rooftop battle intensified instantly.

Orion struck like thunder.

Each punch carried the force of a lightning strike.

Lucien moved like a shadow.

His attacks precise.

Elegant.

Deadly.

The demon struggled to keep up.

But its regeneration continued repairing damage almost as quickly as it appeared.

Kael watched the fight unfold.

His heart pounded in his chest.

The silver energy around him pulsed rhythmically.

Almost like it was responding to the other two.

Storm energy.

Blood energy.

Three forces circling each other.

Then—

The same triangular pattern appeared again.

Faint at first.

Hovering in the air between them.

Lucien saw it immediately.

His eyes widened slightly.

"The resonance…"

Orion dodged another claw swipe.

"Yeah, yeah, we know it's weird!"

Lucien shook his head.

"No."

His voice was sharper now.

"Look."

Orion followed his gaze.

The triangular energy pattern was growing brighter.

Lines of silver, blue, and crimson light connected the three of them.

Like invisible threads weaving something together.

The air vibrated.

The demon roared in frustration.

Its movements became more frantic.

It attacked wildly.

But every time it moved closer to one of them—

The energy between the three reacted.

Strengthening.

Amplifying.

Orion punched the demon again.

This time—

The impact was far stronger than before.

The monster staggered backward.

Orion blinked.

"…Okay."

Lucien struck next.

His crimson blades cut deeper than before.

Dark blood sprayed across the rooftop.

Lucien's voice was calm.

"The bond is strengthening our abilities."

Kael stared at the glowing energy lines connecting them.

"You mean… we're making each other stronger?"

Lucien nodded slowly.

"Yes."

The demon roared again.

But for the first time—

There was hesitation in its movements.

Because it was no longer facing three separate opponents.

It was facing something else entirely.

Something ancient.

Something powerful.

Something that had not appeared in the world for centuries.

The Trinity.

Orion grinned widely.

"Well if that's the case…"

Lightning surged around his body again.

Lucien's crimson energy intensified.

Kael's silver light grew brighter.

Orion cracked his knuckles.

"Let's finish this."

The three of them moved forward at the same time.

Storm.

Blood.

And Celestial light.

The demon roared one final time as the three forces collided against it.

The rooftop exploded with power.

And far away—

Inside the abandoned factory—

The cloaked figures watching the battle through surveillance feeds grew silent.

Their leader leaned closer to the screen.

The triangular resonance shone brightly above the battlefield.

The prophecy had been correct.

The Trinity had begun to awaken.

And now—

Stopping it would become far more difficult.

Because the bond between the three men had already begun forming.

Whether they understood it or not.

And bonds like that—

Were almost impossible to break.
