Morning arrived over Virelden.
But the city was already buzzing with rumors.
News had spread overnight.
A trainee had killed a dungeon monster with his bare hands.
Inside the Hunter Registration Hall, dozens of hunters gathered around the notice board.
A man slammed his fist on the table.
"Where is the kid?"
Kael stood quietly in front of the receptionist desk.
A crystal device glowed in front of him.
The clerk adjusted her glasses.
"Place your hand on the awakening crystal."
Kael obeyed.
Spirit energy flowed into the crystal.
Suddenly—
It flashed crimson.
The entire hall fell silent.
The clerk gasped.
"Bloodline confirmed…"
She stared at the screen in disbelief.
"Berserker class."
Murmurs erupted across the room.
"Berserker?"
"That's a rare combat bloodline."
A hunter approached Kael.
"You're the guy from yesterday?"
Kael nodded.
The hunter grinned.
"Good timing, rookie."
He pointed toward a mission board.
"Gravehowl Cavern is still active."
The dungeon had not been cleared yet.
That meant more monsters remained.
Kael looked at the quest board.

Kael smiled.
"Guess I'm doing this."
A small raid party gathered.
Five hunters total.
A fire elemental.
A telepath.
An arcanist.
A spear fighter.
And Kael.
They reached the dungeon entrance by noon.
Dark mist poured from the cavern.
The telepath spoke quietly.
"Something feels wrong…"
The fire user ignited flames in his palm.
"Relax. It's just a Bronze dungeon."
They stepped inside.
The tunnel echoed with distant growls.
Suddenly—
Three Feral Fang Beasts rushed from the darkness.
The hunters attacked instantly.
Flames exploded.
Psychic force crushed bones.
But one monster slipped past them—
Straight toward Kael.
The creature lunged.
Kael's heart pounded.
His system flashed.
Skill Available
Berserker Rage
Activate?
Kael grinned.
"Let's try this."
"Activate."
A violent surge of power exploded through his muscles.
His strength doubled.
The monster attacked—
But Kael punched forward.
BOOM.
The creature flew across the cavern wall.
Stone shattered.
The hunters froze.
"Did he just… punch it?"
Kael stepped forward slowly.
His eyes glowed faint red.
"Next."
The monsters suddenly seemed much less terrifying.
Because something far more dangerous had just awakened.
And deep inside the dungeon…
A much stronger presence had begun to stir.
The true boss of Gravehowl Cavern.
