Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Changes

"Run fast."

Seeing that the situation was not good, the three members of the Sword Art Society took off their steps and began to flee.

"Chir-chir-chir"

However, their running was not enough. The strange gas that was all over the sky seemed to have found its target and flew towards them at lightning speed.

"Back off!"

Facing such strange objects, the three began to frantically swing their precious crystal swords, but the strange gas did not seem to be affected at all. Eventually, they all burrowed into their brains.

"Ugh~~~~~"

At this moment, the three people's faces had changed drastically. They dropped their crystal swords and held their heads in their hands, beginning to cry out in pain.

Chu Feng could clearly see that the three people's faces changed from white to blue, and then from blue to purple. First, they knelt down, and then began to roll all over the ground, showing that they were suffering from a tremendous amount of pain.

However, this scream of pain only lasted for a moment. Soon, the three people lost their breath and their legs suddenly gave out, they had died, but their death scenes were very strange.

The face was swollen, seven holes were bleeding, the eyes protruded, even the hair began to fall out, it was as terrifying as it could be.

"Chir-chir-chir"

However, for Chu Feng, the most terrifying thing was those strange gases.

After torturing the three people, the gases that had burrowed into their brains suddenly emerged from their heads. At the same time, the strange gases from all directions were slowly floating towards Chu Feng.

"Senior, save me."

In panic, Chu Feng turned his gaze towards the mysterious old man not far away. Because he noticed that the strange gases were floating around but did not dare to approach the old man. This mostly indicated that these strange things were afraid of the old man.

However, Chu Feng's plea for help did not evoke the old man's sympathy. Instead, it enraged the surrounding strange gases. At this moment, they were flying towards Chu Feng at lightning speed.

"Damn it"

Seeing that the situation was bad, Chu Feng leaped forward, running rapidly towards the old man's direction, hoping to rely on the old man to escape. But he underestimated the speed of those strange gases.

Just a few steps later, Chu Feng felt a sharp pain in his brain, as if there was something entering his consciousness and tearing apart his brain tissue.

"Ugh~~~"

Following closely behind, the pain intensified. Chu Feng knew that a large amount of strange gases had entered his brain. These things seemed to be devouring his body, bringing unbearable pain.

In this situation, Chu Feng could not hold on either. He collapsed to the ground, like the three members of the Sword Art Society before him, began to roll all over the ground, crying out loudly.

And facing this scene, the mysterious old man remained unmoved. Only his strange smile gradually faded, replaced by a look of disappointment.

"Ah~~~~~"

But just at this moment, Chu Feng suddenly roared. A white light body spread out from his head, like a vortex, sweeping out. In an instant, it blew away the strange gases within a few meters around into ashes.

After the roar, Chu Feng collapsed helplessly on the ground, fell into a coma, but the white light vortex was still slowly rotating around him.

And under the cover of this vortex, the strange gases around were no longer daring to approach Chu Feng. Even the previous shrill screams had become much lower, as if they were filled with fear.

"Ah?"

For this change, the mysterious old man's expression changed. His eyes showed surprise. Then, he waved his sleeves, a strange wave spread out, all the strange gases retreated back into the white bones.

When the strange gases disappeared, the white light vortex around Chu Feng slowly receded, finally merging into Chu Feng's brain.

"Having waited for nearly a thousand years, finally met a talented person. Hope you won't let me down, old man." The old man moved his body, floated up into the air, slowly landing in front of Chu Feng. Then he saw his fingers spread out, and he pointed his fingers at Chu Feng's chest, touching several glowing orbs. These orbs flew out from his fingers and shot into Chu Feng's chest.

However, when the orbs passed through Chu Feng's clothes and entered his body, the clothes remained intact, but Chu Feng's chest began to emit faint glows of light.

The old man stared at Chu Feng calmly, until the glows on his chest dissipated, and then he slowly closed his eyes.

Suddenly, centered around the old man, a violent green hurricane swept out. This hurricane was permeated with specks of light and contained an extremely terrifying pressure. It instantly devoured this forest.

The most strange thing was that this violent hurricane did not rise up but instead began to sink underground, eventually completely sinking into the ground. And the endless white bones also disappeared.

After the violent hurricane, the flowers, trees, and plants in the forest did not change at all. The hazy night sky once again covered this land.

But the only change was that Chu Feng who had fallen into a coma, and the three members of the Sword Dao Alliance who had died, were now dead.

The gentle wind blew, bringing a chill, and this chill also brought Chu Feng back to consciousness. He slowly opened his eyes.

"Ah, what happened? Did I just have a dream?"

Chu Feng sat up, rubbing his sore head while scanning the surroundings. He found that the terrifying scene had all disappeared, making him think that his previous experience was just a dream.

"No."

But when Chu Feng's gaze fell on the three members of the Sword Dao Alliance, he suddenly stood up, looking at their terrifying death-like appearance. He felt that the previous scene must have truly happened.

"It's too terrifying. How could there be such strange places in this Spirit Pill Mountain?"

"The Tomb of Millions of Bones, where did it come from? And that mysterious old man, what kind of deity is he?"

Chu Feng was extremely shocked. Even now, when he remembered the previous scene, he still found it unbelievable. Because all the previous things had exceeded his capacity to bear.

"Chas..."

Just then, Chu Feng suddenly heard footsteps, and he knew that someone was approaching.

Seeing this, Chu Feng turned his body and entered the forest, fleeing deeper into the woods.

He had to leave because he couldn't let anyone know that he was related to the three members of the Sword Dao Alliance. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to explain.

How could he say that they entered the legendary Tomb of Millions of Bones, and then the three of them were killed, while he remained unharmed?

This kind of thing is truly too strange. Even if it were told to others, no one would believe it. Even if someone did believe it, Chu Feng would become an outsider in the Qinglong Sect. Therefore, he had to distance himself from it.

Chu Feng was running at full speed, but soon he realized that something was wrong. He felt that his consciousness had become extremely clear. Even the slightest movements in the distance could be clearly perceived by him, and this feeling had never occurred before.

"Could it be that the of this Spirit Mountain is too abundant, and because it's so late at night and quiet, it makes people's minds become more alert?"

Chu Feng wanted to find out the reason for his heightened consciousness, but suddenly, he stopped in his tracks abruptly. His eyes immediately became bright, and surprise appeared on his face.

Because he sensed a strange energy fluctuation. Although it was still far away, he was already certain that it was a Heavenly Spirit Grass.
