Chapter 39 - Clash of the Alphas

The forest clearing grew tense as Alpha Darius stepped forward.

His red eyes scanned the pack territory slowly before stopping on Ariana.

"So this is the Moon Heir," he said calmly.

Ariana felt a chill run down her spine.

Jayden immediately moved in front of her.

"You're not touching her."

Darius chuckled softly.

"You're brave, Jayden… but bravery won't help you today."

Kayden stepped beside his brother.

"Wow, you really talk too much."

The wolves behind Darius began spreading out around the clearing.

They were strong… and clearly trained for war.

Jayden's voice became sharp.

"All pack warriors, stand ready."

Growls echoed across the clearing as the wolves prepared for another fight.

Darius slowly removed his dark coat and dropped it on the ground.

"I didn't come here for a small fight," he said.

"I came to take what belongs to destiny."

Jayden's eyes glowed with Alpha power.

"She belongs to no one."

For a moment, both Alphas stared at each other.

Then suddenly—

Darius transformed.

His body expanded into a massive dark gray wolf with glowing red eyes.

Even larger than Jayden's wolf form.

Kayden whistled softly.

"Well… he's big."

Jayden didn't respond.

His body shifted instantly into his powerful black Alpha wolf.

The ground trembled as the two Alphas faced each other.

Then—

They attacked.

Darius lunged forward with terrifying speed.

Jayden blocked the attack and pushed him back.

The clash of their strength shook the clearing.

Their claws collided with a loud crack.

Nearby wolves stepped back, giving them space.

The fight was brutal.

Darius was incredibly strong.

But Jayden was faster and more precise.

Meanwhile, Kayden turned toward Ariana.

"Come with me."

"What?" Ariana asked.

"Trust me," Kayden said.

"This fight is about to get ugly."

He quickly led her deeper into the forest to keep her safe.

Behind them, the battle between the two Alphas continued.

The ground cracked beneath their strength.

Growls echoed across the entire forest.

This wasn't just a fight.

It was a battle that could decide the fate of the Moon Heir.

And possibly the future of the entire werewolf world.
