The door creaked open.
Standing outside was a girl wearing a black hoodie.
Her eyes were sharp and nervous.
"Are you Arjun?" she asked quickly.
"Y-yes… who are you?"
"I'm the reason you're still alive."
Before Arjun could speak, she pushed him inside and locked the door.
"My name is Maya. And someone is trying to kill you."
Arjun laughed nervously.
"This must be a joke."
Maya pulled a small USB drive from her pocket.
"This contains a file worth 50 million dollars."
Arjun's face turned pale.
"And now," she said seriously,
"everyone thinks you stole it."
