Chapter 5 - Meeting Gabriel at the midnight eclipse bar

Skylar steps into The Midnight Eclipse, the neon sign flickering above the door like a beacon in the night.

The air inside is thick with smoke and the hum of quiet conversations. Gabriel's already there, sipping a drink, and surrounded by women in thinner clothes!!

"You're late," Gabriel says, voice smooth as the whiskey in his glass. He gestures to the seat across from him, a silent invitation.

Skylar's jaw sets, but he takes the seat, eyes locked on Gabriel's. "Traffic was crazy," he says, a simple explanation, but Gabriel's gaze says he sees right through it.

Gabriel leans in, voice dropping low. "Traffic's not an excuse, Skylar. In my world, timing's everything!! But don't worry, you can enjoy yourself a tittle bit before we start talking about business!

Skylar's eyes flick to the women surrounding Gabriel, then back to Gabriel. "I'm here for the deal, not the distraction," he says, voice steady. "Let's skip the fun and get to the business."

Gabriel smiles, amused. "Alright, business it is. I have a million-dollar contract involving a premium firearms shipment. You'll oversee the exchange."

Skylar nods, a sharp, businesslike gesture. "I accept the contract. What's the plan?"

Gabriel's smile widens, impressed. "Good. The shipment arrives at dawn tomorrow, at the old warehouse on 5th and Main. You'll let some of your man meet the buyer, ensure the exchange goes smooth, and get the cash."

He slides a folder across the table. "All details are in there. Don't mess it up, Skylar."

Skylar took the folder and gave it to one of his men . "I'll handle it." He said "

Gabriel leans back, eyes glinting. "I know you will.

Skylar's expression doesn't change, but something flickers in his eyes!
