Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Returning to His Parents’ Home

Hinata Hyuga felt that given Boruto's condition, it would be best for his grandfather to see him. She guided the emotionally charged boy to the Hyuga clan estate.

"Miss Hinata, are you visiting the clan head again today?" a Hyuga clan member on patrol greeted her politely.

"Yes, that's right. Is my father home?" Hinata replied calmly.

"The clan head has returned. Would you like us to announce your arrival?"

"No, that won't be necessary. I'll go in myself."

"Very well. Enjoy your visit, Miss Hinata."

"Hmm," Hinata answered with a nod.

Boruto, walking beside her, muttered under his breath, Every time we come to grandpa's house, there's always some formality like this. It's so annoying.

"You know, kid, does your clan have some kind of serious illness? Using cursed seals to monitor your own relatives," Momoshiki teased sarcastically in Boruto's mind.

"I don't know… Does the Hyuga clan really have something like that?" Boruto said, shocked by Momoshiki's remark.

"I just sensed it. Everyone had a deadly seal on their forehead. I wonder what's going on. Why don't you grab two of them and ask?" Momoshiki suggested mischievously.

Although Momoshiki knew this was the Cage Bird Seal that the main house used on branch families, he decided to act surprised for sarcastic effect.

"I better ask Mom first," Boruto said, sensing Momoshiki was trying to trap him, and came up with an excuse.

"Tch, fine," Momoshiki muttered, realizing Boruto wasn't taking the bait.

"Mom, what were those seals I just sensed on the clan members?" Boruto asked Hinata.

"Boruto, you could feel the Cage Bird Seal? Very few people can sense it," Hinata said in surprise.

"Yeah, Mom. I was curious when you were speaking earlier, so I reached out and felt the mark on their foreheads. So that's what the Cage Bird Seal is," Boruto explained.

"The Cage Bird Seal was a curse that the main house once used on branch family members. It's no longer in use," Hinata explained briefly and fell silent.

"But…" Boruto began, only to be interrupted by a voice.

"Boruto, my dear grandson, come here and let grandpa have a look at you," Hyuga Hiashi said as he noticed Boruto approaching.

"Grandpa! I'm back!" Boruto called out enthusiastically.

Hiashi ruffled Boruto's hair and said to Hinata, "Hinata, you're back. Is there something you need?"

"Yes, Father. It's about Boruto," Hinata said.

"What about Boruto?" Hiashi asked, curiosity piqued.

"Boruto has activated his Byakugan," Hinata explained.

Hearing this, Hiashi immediately urged Boruto to show him the Byakugan.

"Byakugan!" Boruto shouted as he formed the necessary hand signs and activated the Byakugan for the very first time.

Boruto's eyes turned pale and the Byakugan remained active. Seeing this, Hiashi's joy was childlike, as if a sixty-year-old man had become six again.

"Father, the important thing is that when Boruto first practiced Gentle Fist after activating the Byakugan, something unusual happened," Hinata added, looking exhausted from the emotional tension before continuing.

"Hm? What do you mean?" Hiashi immediately regained his composed expression and turned to Hinata.

"When Boruto practiced the basic Gentle Fist, he executed a technique I've never seen before. After finishing, he fainted. That's why I wanted to ask you, Father what exactly happened?" Hinata explained everything in one breath.

Hmm… I've never seen Gentle Fist executed like that. Boruto performed it, so I can't fully judge. Hinata, can you demonstrate it for me completely? Hiashi asked thoughtfully, analyzing the situation carefully.

"I'll try," Hinata replied, nodding.
