Chapter 4 - Spatial Folding: Droopy Is Ridiculous

"Vice Admiral Garp, are you alright?!"

The adjutant hurried over, still clutching his ringing ears. His gaze lingered uneasily on the ship that had already become a blur in the distance.

Garp instinctively reached up to touch his head. Then he grinned, carefree as ever.

"A Droopy dog controlling sea beasts to pull a ship… and a rabbit that slapped cannonballs back with its bare hands!"

"That ship is definitely not ordinary. Wahahaha!"

"Vice Admiral Garp, how can you still be laughing at a time like this…"

The adjutant sighed helplessly before changing the subject.

"Judging from their course, they're probably heading toward Loguetown as well. Should I contact Captain Smoker there?"

Garp blinked in surprise.

"Smoker's already been assigned to Loguetown?"

"Vice Admiral Garp, can you please be serious for once?" the adjutant nearly collapsed. "You were the one who recommended him for that post!"

"Ahahaha, I forgot!" Garp scratched the back of his head and laughed loudly, still staring in the direction the ship had vanished.

Although the strange vessel had caught him completely off guard, he had still clearly seen what was on board.

Aside from the two rabbits and the Droopy dog controlling the sea beasts—

There was only one person.

A boy lounging lazily on a deck chair.

A teenager traveling through the East Blue with two rabbits and a dog… and yet neither he nor any Marine base in the East Blue had received even a hint of intelligence about them.

And there hadn't been a pirate flag on that ship.

Which meant—

They were probably not pirates.

At least, not yet.

After a moment of thought, Garp waved his hand decisively.

"Full speed ahead!"

"Get to Loguetown as fast as possible. I want to meet the owner of that ship myself!"

Meanwhile—

On the deck of the ship that had already left the warship far behind, Kairo had gotten up from his chair and walked to the stern.

Although Da Hong had reacted first when the cannonballs appeared, Kairo had still clearly seen the Marine warship.

And the silver-haired old man standing on its deck.

With the dog-head hat.

As a transmigrator, Kairo recognized him instantly.

There was only one Marine Vice Admiral in the entire Navy who wore a dog-head hat.

Monkey D. Garp.

Hero of the Marines.

The man who once fought alongside the Pirate King to defeat the Rocks Pirates at God Valley.

And also—

The grandfather of the future protagonist of this world.

Monkey D. Luffy.

"…What's wrong with that old man?"

Standing at the stern and gazing across the sea, Kairo narrowed his eyes.

"I'm not even flying a pirate flag, and he still fired cannons at me without warning."

"Fine."

"If that's how you want to play…"

"I'll just head straight to Foosha Village."

Before his words had even faded, Kairo vanished from the stern.

When he reappeared, he was already standing at the bow beside Droopy.

"Droopy, we're changing destinations."

Glancing at the seven or eight sea beasts working hard to pull the ship forward, Kairo spoke decisively.

"We're going to Foosha Village."

"You know the route, right?"

Droopy tilted his head and glanced at him.

Then, without any hurry, he casually reached into the air—

And pulled out a map.

After scanning the map for a moment, Droopy frowned slightly and squeezed out a single word through his teeth.

"Far."

Kairo leaned closer curiously.

"Whoa… this is an East Blue map?"

The map was densely marked with islands and towns.

Among them were familiar names like Foosha Village and Cocoyasi Village.

Even Kairo couldn't help but laugh.

"Where did you even get this thing?"

Droopy didn't answer.

Instead, he simply pointed at Foosha Village on the map.

"Far."

"So we're near Loguetown waters right now?"

After checking the map again, Kairo nodded.

"Yeah… that's definitely far."

"Is there a faster way to get there?"

"Yes."

Droopy answered without hesitation.

"Pull the village over here."

"…."

Kairo slowly raised a thumbs-up.

"Respect."

Droopy ignored him.

He flicked the map away and pulled out a new lasso.

After briefly scanning the horizon to determine the direction of Foosha Village—

He swung the rope into the sky.

The short lasso shot upward.

And then—

It continued stretching endlessly.

Ignoring wind resistance, the rope flew toward Foosha Village at incredible speed.

Within a dozen seconds, it had reached the sky above the village.

Once there, the rope slowed down and gently descended onto a rocky hill just outside the village.

The loop slipped perfectly around a protruding boulder.

Back on the ship—

Kairo watched the rope's flight with fascination.

Before transmigrating, he had only known about Droopy's abilities from cartoons.

Now that Droopy stood right beside him, actually performing something like spatial folding, he didn't want to miss a single detail.

Just as he was watching intently—

The slack rope suddenly snapped tight.

In the next moment—

A massive island appeared directly in front of the ship.

There was no violent shock.

No towering waves.

No earth-shaking sound.

The enormous island simply appeared, as if it had always been there.

"…What the hell?!"

Kairo's eyes widened as he stared at the village on the island.

He could even see the giant windmill slowly turning near the farmland.

As expected of a concept-level god.

Completely ridiculous.

The villagers themselves clearly had no idea anything had happened.

People walked along the streets as usual.

Fishermen shouted at the docks.

Everything continued as normal.

Compared to Kairo's shock, Droopy remained perfectly calm.

With a small motion of his baton pointing toward the dock of Foosha Village—

The sea beasts immediately accelerated.

Moments later, as the ship approached the pier, the sea beasts all dove beneath the ocean and vanished.

With their momentum alone, the ship glided smoothly to shore.

Just as the vessel docked, Kairo suddenly felt the air in front of him ripple slightly.

In the next instant—

The island Droopy had dragged over returned to its original position.

Everything looked exactly the same as before.

As if nothing had ever happened.

"…Wait."

Kairo glanced around in confusion.

"Droopy… did you just use spatial folding again?"

"Spatial folding?" Droopy blinked.

"You mean restoring the island to its original position?"

"…What?"

Kairo stared.

"You pulled the island here… and then sent it back?"

Droopy nodded.

"Otherwise there would be serious problems."

Kairo raised his thumb again.

"Droopy… you're insane."

At that moment—

Da Hong walked over.

He stared at the village with growing intensity.

Then his eyes lit up with excitement.

"Canvas shoes."

"…Huh?"

Kairo blinked and followed his gaze.

When he saw the shoe shop in the village—

He immediately understood.

Anyone who had watched Usavich knew that Da Hong was obsessed with canvas sneakers.

Especially red ones.

If someone touched Da Hong's sneakers—

It would trigger his berserk mode.

And a berserk Da Hong?

Even if his body were sliced into three pieces by lasers, he could clap his hands together and reassemble himself instantly.

Terrifying didn't even begin to describe it.
