Laith stared in astonishment at the crimson pool of blood
The pool of blood was slowly moving towards him.
Laith panicked and began to crawl to escape, but even crawling was difficult; the ground was still moving and more and more cracks were appearing in the house.
'The house won't hold for much longer.'
Laith knew the house would soon collapse and be buried under a pile of rocks.
Laith tried to go to an exit, but the ground had collapsed and the path between him and the exit door was cut off.
He looked behind him and the pool of blood was still chasing him.
Then he began crawling towards his room.
'If I'm going to die, it's better to die in my favorite place.'
Laith loved his room; it was his only escape from school.
Laith entered his room, which was in complete disarray; his favorite novels were scattered everywhere.
Laith noticed that he still had one of the two syringes he had found in his hand.
He looked behind him, the pool of blood still chasing him.
'If I inject this into my body, will I die?'
He was in a pitiful state; his clothes, face, and hair were covered in dust.
He didn't know what would happen if the pool of blood got any closer, he didn't know what the injection was doing, and he didn't know why the building was collapsing.
Leith sighed, tears streaming down his face.
"All I wanted was to go home and be alone."
He was too scared to die; he didn't do anything he wanted in his life.
He looked behind him and saw that the pool of blood had reached him.
But just before she could rush towards him, Laith injected himself with the strange syringe.
After injecting himself with the contents of the syringe, Laith felt his body heat rising and his breathing began to become difficult.
Laith grabbed his neck with both hands
The whites of his eyes turned red due to lack of air.
At that moment, a pool of blood rushed towards him and began to flow through the orifices of his body.
After about half the blood had entered, his breathing returned to normal and his vision became clearer.
But the blood didn't stop flowing through his body, as Laith began to feel slightly thirsty at that moment.
But strangely, the thirst was not for water, but for blood.
Strangely, he thought he wanted to drink blood as if it were something normal.
But before the blood fully entered, the ground beneath him began to collapse and he began to fall.
He began to fall to the ground. He raised his head to see that the remaining blood followed him and behind it a large pile of rocks.
If it falls on a lion, there is no way for it to escape.
But before he hit the ground, the remaining blood approached him and began to envelop his body.
His entire body became covered in blood, to the point that he could see the world in red.
'What is happening'
Strangely, Laith remained calm, which is odd for someone who was so close to hitting the ground after falling from the fourth floor.
He didn't scream and his body wasn't trembling.
Then, a moment later, he heard the sound of the impact.
"Bam!"
Laith fell and a pile of rocks began to fall on him.
In the end, Laith was buried under a pile of rocks from a ten-story building.
_______
A woman in her forties was calling her husband, but he didn't answer.
She glanced at another woman next to her who was in her fifties.
She said, her face filled with tension and fear,
"Madam President, I think I have to go. None of them are answering, and things outside are out of control."
The president looked at her calmly.
"Don't worry, I've sent people to bring your family. Now we must evacuate and go somewhere safe to find a solution to the chaos that has occurred."
The woman hesitated before her boss's answer, but she trusted her because she was someone who had stood by her a lot. So she decided to trust her this time too.
She sighed and said in a weak voice,
"I hope they are alright."
Then she heard a phone beep; the president picked up her phone.
"It seems the helicopter has arrived. Let's go up to the roof."
They headed to a rooftop where they found a helicopter waiting for them.
There was also a soldier who saluted:
"I'm Private Park, ma'am. I've been assigned to protect you both until you reach base."
Everyone boarded the helicopter, and then the helicopter began to ascend.
After they started moving, the two women looked down at the city below them.
