Suddenly she jolted awake sweat dripping from her body, she glanced around her sorrounding.
"It's really just a dream?", she question herself and sigh a relief.
She stand up and walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water to drink. As she drank a thought pop up in her mind.
"Was that really just a dream or just another hulicination?, but it felt so real that it's frightening. This is not the first dream where I experienced supernatural beings".
Suddenly an alarm went off, she walk to her room to turn of her phones alarm.
"The time is already 6:00 a.m I should get ready for school", she said in a low voice.
After getting ready for school she left the house after locking the door. Then she walk to the school just in time before the gates closed.
"Selene over here!", a person shouted.
Selene then looked to her side and saw her deskmate Mira.
Mira ran to her and smiled,"Your just in time before the gates closed Selene", as she said in a cheerful tone.
"Yes I'm just on time, its good that I'm not late or else I have to skip school", as Selene smiled back at Mira.
"Come on Selene you have never been absent since the school started, I on the other hand have been absent on so many days because I was always late!", as Mira smiled and joked to Selene.Selene force a smile back.
As they walk to the classroom Selene listens to Mira's chatter. But as they past a three to the classroom Mira saw a shadow dart past a person and enter the classrooms building.
"That's new I have never seen this entity in the school before what type of creature is it?. I should stop thinking about what it is, it's just an illusion your imagination Selene, they're not real".
"They're not real", Selene muttered in a low voice.
"Selene what are you muttering about? Mira inquired as she looked at Selene's face.
"oh-ohh it's nothing Mira", Selene stuttered in an explanation.
"you seem pale, are you sure your just fine?", Mira inquired in a caring tone.
"oh yes I'm fine I'm just a bit under the weather lately", Selene said as a quick excuse.
"I see, then you should take care of yourself Selene, especially with the unknown weathers",Mira said in an endearing tone of comfort.
"Of course l will take care of myself properly, we should probably head to our classroom, where almost late a teacher might already be inside the classroom",as Selene answered Mira's concern she switched the topic quickly.
"Oh your right it's almost time, come on Selene hurry up!", As Mira said in surprise she pulled Selene with her running to the classroom.
"Wait Mira slow down!", Selene shouted as Mira pulls her along.
"Where going to be late Selene!", as Mira shouted in urgency.
"Don't worry we still have some time, where almost there!", Selene shouted to Mira.
"Where here , where just in time!", as Mira said in labored breathing.
"Yes where just in time", as Selene pants out of breath from running to the classroom.
They both walked to their seats and rested, then the teacher suddenly enters the door.
"look where just on time, before the teacher even entered were already here", Mira said whispering near Selene's ear.
They both looked at each other and burst into a low chuckle about the situation. The teacher then started their lesson so Selene and Mira stop their conversation
As Selene tried to focus on the lesson
she saw a blurry shadow that dart inside the teachers body. Then she saw her teachers head rotate to the back looking at her unblinkingly with a grin that looked forced on a sorrowful face. Her eyes widden with shock and terror of the sight.
Then a stern voice shouted in her ears
it's the teacher telling her to stand up and answer the problem on the board. She stand in confusion of what she saw.Then the teacher reprimanded her for not focusing on the lesson and just daydreaming. The teacher let her sir down and continue with the lesson.
She sat down still confused about the situation, thinking of what she just saw.Then suddenly Mira pat her on the shoulder, Selene suddenly flinches.
"Are you alright, you don't look fine want me to take you to the clinic?",Mira whispered in a gentle voice.
"It's nothing Mira I'm fine, I just got a little distracted", Selene whispered.
"Alright if you say so, but if you don't feel well just tell me so I can bring you to the clinic", Mira responded as she looked at Selene worriedly.
"Alright Mira thank you", Selene said with a forced smile.
"Of course that's what friends are for", Mira said cheerfully.
Then they listen back to the lessons after the time passes. The bell for lunch time started ringing. The teacher then ended their lesson.
"Alright class this is it for today we will continue our discussion tomorrow, you may now have you're lunch", the teacher said in a loud voice, then he left the classroom.
Voices suddenly chattered nonstop inside the classroom after the teacher left. Then Selene heard different types of voices that cant be considered normal, so she looked up and she saw numerous eyes staring back at her unblinkingly. As their mouth smile without opening, while the voices kept on chattering beside her ears.
