Chapter 5 - I am DONE FOR!

How can this storyline be so perfect?

I know that it is cliché for the main character to be related to the most powerful race, or even to be royalty, but this is going too far.

I have seen plenty of books where the protagonist was transmigrated into the body of a super-powerful species, but this is ridiculous.

It's just too cliché.

It is like a fantasy book written for children, where the protagonist has a huge family.

So the story could go something like this: 'The protagonist was a normal human being who had no special powers, but then one day he met his parents who are aliens.'

You know what I mean.

It looks like the author is going for cliché stereotypes to make the story as interesting as possible.

Making me transmigrate into the body of a dragon, who is the son of two other powerful people, will surely make it more exciting.

But I'm still pissed about what is happening right now.

This is way too much.

"It is not good for you to stand like that," Alvis said, "Please, take a seat."

Hearing his voice, I suddenly realized the situation I was in.

What should I do? I don't even know what kind of person the owner of this body is.

What if the owner is some kind of an idiot?

What if he is the kind of person who likes to bully people?

I only know that he is a pervert, and in most novels that I have read, they were often stupid and annoying.

'What if the owner of this body is like that?' I thought.

What if he is just a useless person who is looking down upon everyone else, and he is proud of who he is?

But then there is the possibility that he is an arrogant bastard who likes to flaunt his status and power.

However, it seems like everyone here is pretty friendly, so there is no reason to be concerned about that. I will just act as myself and see what happens.

I thought as I took a seat facing the king because it was the only place available.

The table consists of twelve people including myself.

On my left and right there are two girls, they were probably my age. I mean this body looks like an 18-year-old guy and these girls seem to be close to my age, but they can be younger.

And when I looked at them, I was greeted by warm smiles playing across their lips.

This made my heart melt.

Both of them are beautiful.

'Don't get distracted!' I yelled at myself.

I need to pay attention to what is going on here.

And then my eyes fell on a girl sitting next to the Queen of Vampires.

That was when I f*king lost it.

She was stunningly beautiful, and she had a gentle aura surrounding her. Her red eyes were shining brightly, and her brown hair flowed in the wind as if it was dancing.

When she smiled at me, my heart stopped for a moment.

Everything around me turned dark except for her smiling face.

She was so beautiful that it made me tremble.

Her pale skin seemed like the moonlight shining down on her.

And the sight of her blue dress made my heart beat so fast that I was worried about a heart attack.

I saw her name floating above her head and the screen was telling me that she was my sister.

— Name: Elena Aragon

— Age: 19 years old

— Relationship: Half-Sister

She looks like a goddess.

She looks too much like a goddess to be human, oh, I mean, a dragon.

And if I'm not wrong then she is the daughter of the Vampire Queen.

And everyone here except for my parents is my siblings.

This is too much!

Are you telling me that I have, mmm, wait a minute, let me count.

One...

Two...

Three...

Oh... How is that dude sitting in front of Elena looking at me like?

— Name: Aries Aragon

— Age: 18 years old

— Relationship: Half-Brother

Yeah, yeah, I get it that he is my brother. But I still don't understand why he is looking at me like that.

His face is saying, 'You are dead!' While he is glaring at me.

It is almost as if he wants to kill me.

But the worst part is that he looks like a serial killer!

I know it sounds stupid but his face looks really weird.

There is a scar running from his left eye to his cheek. And the scar looks fresh.

Maybe this guy got into a fight and got beat up, or something like that.

The reason I say that is because he has a crazed look on his face.

He is staring at me as if he is about to burst into flames.

While everyone else is looking at me with kind eyes, this guy looks like he wants to kill me!

"Now that everyone is here," The King said in a calm voice. "Let us begin."

The atmosphere in the room suddenly changed.

The king stood up, and everyone did the same.

They all bowed before sitting down again including the king.

'What the heck?'

Is this some kind of ritual? Bowing before eating? Like in novels when they say 'thank you for the food'?

Oh! I see! This is a sign of respect, or maybe it is a show of their honor.

That must be it!

While I was thinking I noticed that everyone was looking at me.

'What is going on?'

Do I also have to bow?

Should I stand up and say, 'Thank you for the food'?

No, that would be too embarrassing.

'I should just stand up and bow.'

I slowly stood up.

Everyone looked at me with surprised looks on their faces.

Did I do something wrong?

Shouldn't I bow?

Oh no, what if I'm supposed to say something after standing up?

I started to panic.

'Wait, this is not like me!'

But it doesn't matter how I feel, the king is still looking at me.

He is waiting for me to say something.

Should I say something?

Like 'Thank you for the food' or something like that?

"Um," I began, "Thanks for the food."

"The food?" The king said in confusion.

I'm f*cked.

I wanted to say something meaningful, but that was the only thing that came out of my mouth.

What the heck did I just say?

I have no idea why I said that.

It felt like the words came out of my mouth on their own.

They just left my tongue like vomit and then came out of my mouth.

I was shocked by my own words.

And when I saw everyone else's confused faces, I got even more embarrassed.

"The food," he said as he laughed. "Yes, that is right. We are going to eat breakfast. But where did you learn to say that? It is my first time hearing it."

I couldn't believe it, but he looked amused by my words.

"Oh," I said in relief, "I heard it from someone before."

"Who might that person be?"

"My...," I was about to say my orphanage when I remembered the situation I was in. "...from a friend."

"A friend?"

"Yes."

"I see, let us start eating."

"Yes!"

I also sat down, and we began eating.

The food was amazing!

It was the most delicious thing I ever ate, and it tasted better than the food in the academy.

The food was served on golden platters filled with food that made my stomach hurt.

There were small cups filled with soup that was as red as blood, and there were many dishes in which I couldn't tell what it was.

It looked like the food was made out of the most expensive ingredients and was cooked by the best chef in the world.

The meat was so tender and juicy that it almost melted in my mouth. The soup was so tasty that it felt like it was burning my tongue.

This is f*cking good!

I suddenly feel like Deja-vu!

Doesn't this situation match the novel called: Trash of the Count —

Crap, I can't say the full name here.

Anyway, I'm sure that the protagonist of that book, who was transmigrated into the body of someone useless, also ate like this on the first day.

The only difference is he dealt with every situation calmly, unlike me.

Even if he was in the body of a weak person, he wouldn't be as confused as I am.

The only thing he would be concerned about is how to not get beaten up.

The protagonist of that book is smart, so he knows how to deal with everyone.

But my brain isn't working properly, so I'm freaking out.

At the very least, I should try to be like the protagonist of that book.

I have made my decision not to freak out and to be calm in every situation. But...

"So, Rio. You know that today is your death day, right?"

When I heard the king say that I started to look on the top of everyone's head. To find who Rio is.

What?!

Wait a minute! None of my siblings has the name, Rio! So who is he referring to?

I glanced at the king and saw him looking straight at me.

Don't tell me...
