Chapter 33 - A Duel in the Courtyard

One afternoon, Michael and Matthew were challenged by two senior disciples, young but highly skilled, who had heard of their fame and wanted to test themselves.

"This is an opportunity," Michael whispered. "Control, don't underestimate them."

Matthew nodded. "Focus on synchronization. If we work as one, they cannot match us."

The duel began. Qi clashed in brilliant arcs of light and shadow. The twins' combined movements were fluid, almost dance-like, their Yin-Yang attributes perfectly balanced. Each strike, each step, displayed the harmony between them.

Spectators gasped as energy swirled around the courtyard. Michael blocked a strike aimed at Matthew, redirecting it effortlessly. Matthew countered with a Qi surge that pushed one of the challengers back several meters.

By the duel's end, the senior disciples were left struggling, unable to overcome the twins' synergy. The crowd erupted in cheers, and even the elders watching nodded in approval… tempered with caution.

The dragon turtle spoke softly in their minds. Never underestimate the price of victory. Every challenge overcome attracts attention—some of it dangerous.
