Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 — The First Product

The night sky above Eastern Technology University was deep and quiet.

Most dormitory lights had already gone out, and the campus roads were almost empty except for the occasional student walking back from the library.

Inside Dormitory 306, however, the glow of a laptop screen still illuminated the small room.

Lin Tianyu sat calmly at his desk, fingers moving steadily across the keyboard.

Lines of code scrolled continuously across the screen.

Behind him, Wang Hao rolled over on his bed and groaned.

"Are you seriously coding again?"

Lin Tianyu didn't look up.

"Yes."

Wang Hao glanced at the clock.

"It's two in the morning."

"Normal people sleep at two in the morning."

Lin Tianyu replied casually.

"I'm not normal."

Wang Hao stared at him for a few seconds.

"…Fair enough."

Then he pulled a pillow over his head.

But after a few moments he peeked again.

"So what are you building this time?"

Lin Tianyu answered calmly.

"An AI application."

Wang Hao blinked.

"What kind of application?"

"Productivity software."

Wang Hao sat up again, curious.

"Like those scheduling apps?"

Lin Tianyu nodded slightly.

"But smarter."

The application he was building wasn't just a normal productivity tool.

It was based on the AI framework he had already developed.

The idea was simple.

An intelligent assistant capable of:

• scheduling tasks automatically

• analyzing work patterns

• optimizing daily routines

• predicting deadlines and workloads

For students and professionals, such a tool could be extremely useful.

And with the system's advanced AI architecture, it could outperform most existing apps on the market.

Inside Lin Tianyu's mind, the system interface appeared again.

MISSION TRACKING

Develop AI Productivity Application

Current Progress: 18%

Remaining Time: 9 Days

Lin Tianyu leaned slightly closer to the screen.

"Still early."

But the development speed was already impressive.

The system blueprint had provided a highly optimized architecture for the application.

Compared to normal development, his progress was several times faster.

Economic Network Growth

Another notification appeared.

ECONOMIC NETWORK REPORT

Current Balance: ¥2,938,000

Profit Generated (Last 12 Hours): ¥410,000

Projected 24-Hour Profit: ¥720,000

Lin Tianyu's expression remained calm.

But internally he understood the significance.

The financial prediction AI was becoming extremely effective.

The algorithm now dominated several trading markets.

Stocks.

Cryptocurrency.

Commodity futures.

Small profits accumulated continuously.

And the capital was growing faster every day.

Soon—

It would cross ten million yuan.

But Lin Tianyu knew something important.

Trading profits alone were unstable.

Real wealth required businesses.

Products.

Companies.

Technology platforms.

That was why the AI application he was building was so important.

It would become his first real product.

Morning on Campus

The next morning, the campus was lively again.

Students gathered near the engineering building discussing assignments and projects.

Lin Tianyu walked calmly toward the entrance.

As usual, several students whispered when they saw him.

"That's the guy who improved the robotics algorithm."

"I heard he rejected Zhao Ming's investment."

"He's pretty bold."

But Lin Tianyu ignored the attention.

Just as he reached the building entrance—

Someone called his name.

"Tianyu."

He turned around.

Chen Xiaoyu was walking toward him.

She was carrying a laptop bag and smiling gently.

"Morning."

"Morning," Lin Tianyu replied.

They walked together toward the engineering lab.

Chen Xiaoyu glanced at him curiously.

"You seem busy lately."

"I am."

"What are you working on?"

Lin Tianyu thought for a moment.

"An AI application."

Chen Xiaoyu's eyes brightened.

"That sounds interesting."

"What does it do?"

"It helps people organize their lives."

Chen Xiaoyu laughed softly.

"I definitely need that."

Their conversation felt relaxed and natural.

For a moment, it was just two students talking about technology.

But suddenly—

A voice interrupted.

"Well well."

Both of them turned.

Wang Jun stood near the building entrance again.

Three of his friends stood behind him.

His expression carried obvious hostility.

"You two seem close."

Chen Xiaoyu frowned.

"Wang Jun, stop it."

But Wang Jun ignored her.

He looked directly at Lin Tianyu.

"I heard you're building some kind of AI product."

Lin Tianyu didn't respond.

Wang Jun smirked.

"You should know something."

"My cousin Zhao Ming invests in tech startups."

"If you want to succeed…"

"You should learn to respect the right people."

Lin Tianyu looked at him calmly.

"I already said no."

Wang Jun laughed mockingly.

"You really think you can build a company alone?"

"Do you know how much money startups need?"

Lin Tianyu answered quietly.

"I'll manage."

Wang Jun stepped closer.

"You're really arrogant."

For a moment the atmosphere became tense.

Several students nearby stopped walking.

But Chen Xiaoyu suddenly stepped forward.

"That's enough."

Her voice was calm but firm.

"Stop harassing him."

Wang Jun stared at her.

Then he laughed coldly.

"Fine."

"But remember something, Lin Tianyu."

He leaned closer.

"In the real world…"

"…people like you don't win."

Then he turned and walked away.

Late Night Breakthrough

Back in the dormitory that evening, Lin Tianyu continued coding.

The AI application interface slowly took shape.

Task scheduling algorithms.

Predictive workload models.

Adaptive learning systems.

Hours passed.

Then suddenly—

The system interface appeared again.

MISSION PROGRESS UPDATE

Develop AI Productivity Application

Current Progress: 67%

Lin Tianyu leaned back slightly.

"Almost there."

At the same moment, another notification appeared.

ECONOMIC NETWORK UPDATE

Current Balance: ¥4,820,000

His wealth had nearly doubled again.

Wang Hao glanced over and shook his head.

"You're definitely hiding something."

Lin Tianyu smiled faintly.

"Maybe."

But his attention quickly returned to the screen.

The AI application continued developing rapidly.

If everything went according to plan—

Within a few days, his first real product would be ready.

And that would be the beginning of something far greater.

Meanwhile — Zhao Ming's Office

Across the city, inside a tall glass office building, Zhao Ming studied a financial report carefully.

Several stock charts were displayed on his computer screen.

A mysterious trading algorithm had been outperforming professional hedge funds.

Its accuracy was almost unbelievable.

Zhao Ming leaned back slowly.

"Interesting."

He looked at the investigation report beside the screen.

The name at the top caught his attention.

Lin Tianyu

Zhao Ming smiled faintly.

"So…"

"You're more interesting than I thought."
