Chapter 12 - Battle Above the Clouds.. Harbinger of the Black Moon

The sinister smirk etched onto the hybrid face of Kabuto Yakushi was not merely a provocation; it was a formal declaration of "Phase Two: The Great Purification." Above the yawning crater of Mount Subaru, the Black Moon—a floating fortress that seamlessly fused the planet-killing technology of a Death Star with the Saiyan's artificial moonlight generators—began to eclipse the golden fractures of the sky. It cast a suffocating, funeral shadow over the fused world, turning the vibrant landscape into a graveyard of cold obsidian.

"Vegeta! Sasuke!" Zoro roared, bracing his legs against the shifting tectonic plates of the volcano. He used ropes of reinforced Ninja-Chakra to lash the heavy ingots of Chrome-Saiyan to his back. "That thing in the sky... it's pre-charging its core! If it fires those cannons now, Aquatic Konoha won't just be destroyed—it will be erased from the very memory of this world!"

Vegeta looked down at Kabuto, who was slithering like a metallic serpent amidst the bubbling magma. The Prince's armor was shattered, and his breath came in jagged, bloody rasps. "Both of you, get out of here! I will grind this scavenger into the dust and turn this reactor into a funeral pyre. Don't make me repeat myself—that metal must reach Piccolo now!"

Sasuke Uchiha didn't waste a second on sentiment. He grabbed Zoro by the shoulder and activated Amenotejikara, swapping their positions with a distant crag far outside the volcano's rim. In a flash of purple lightning, they vanished, heading toward the Alliance HQ at terminal velocity, leaving the Saiyan Prince to face his destiny in the heart of the fire.

The Stand: Vegeta vs. The Hybrid Abomination

Kabuto's laughter sounded like the grinding of rusted blades. "Vegeta... you possess a magnificent pride, but you fight with a corpse of a body. The Orochimaru cells coursing through my veins are now integrated with the DNA of a Legendary Saiyan ancestor. I am no longer a mere medical ninja. I am the Final Evolution!"

With a sickening squelch, Kabuto lunged. His limbs transformed into metallic, hydra-like serpents that spat high-frequency Senjutsu lasers.

"Final Evolution?" Vegeta growled, his aura erupting into the divine azure of Super Saiyan Blue. "You are nothing but a maggot feasting on the scraps of greater men! I will show you the power that is forged in the fires of a billion true battles!"

They collided in the center of the reactor. Vegeta's punches were localized supernovas, shattering Kabuto's cybernetic plating, but the regenerative cells acted with supernatural speed, rebuilding the monster's form in seconds using the reactor's energy. "Useless!" Kabuto shrieked, coiling a massive serpent around Vegeta's throat. "Every blow you land only feeds me. I am drinking your Ki, Prince!"

The Sky Race: A Sprint Against Extinction

While Vegeta fought his war of attrition, Sasuke and Zoro streaked across the shattered canopy of the Great Forest. Sasuke manifested the majestic, purple wings of his Perfect Susanoo to carry Zoro and the heavy payload. But the path was far from clear.

A swarming legion of "Aero-Pacifistas" launched from the Black Moon to intercept them. These units were equipped with kinetic energy-shields designed to neutralize long-range Ninjutsu.

"Zoro! I'm going to open a vein in their formation!" Sasuke shouted, his Mangekyo Sharingan spinning violently. He unleashed a barrage of Amaterasu, the black flames igniting the wings of the nearest droids. "Use your strongest strike to cleave the center!"

Zoro stood atop the Susanoo's glowing back. He tied his black bandanna, his three swords glowing with a terrifying, sickly green and black aura.

"Three-Sword Style: Secret of the Realms... DARK DRAGON TORNADO!"

A gargantuan vortex of Haki and cutting wind erupted, shredding hundreds of automatons in a matter of seconds. It carved a golden path through the oppressive black clouds. "Not much further, Sasuke! I can see the walls of Konoha!"

The Zenith: The Explosion of Ego

Back at Mount Subaru, Vegeta had reached the precipice of total exhaustion. Kabuto was bloated with stolen energy, his presence dominating the crater. "Time to die, O Prince of Failure!" Kabuto roared, charging a fused Chidori-Ki blast between his palms.

But Vegeta smiled—a terrifying, bloody grin. "Failure? I don't fail... I only accumulate my rage."

Suddenly, a deep, royal purple aura exploded around Vegeta, heavier and more primal than anything he had shown before. Ultra Ego had awakened.

"Go ahead... hit me again," Vegeta whispered, his voice dripping with lethal intent. "The more pain you inflict, the more I crave your total destruction!"

Vegeta ignored a laser beam that pierced his shoulder, lunging forward to grip Kabuto's head with a bare, vibrating hand.

"Supreme Destruction Technique: HAKAI!"

The smirk vanished from Kabuto's face, replaced by a soul-deep horror. His hybrid body began to flake away into particles of nothingness. "This... is impossible! Energy cannot be lost..."

"It isn't lost!" Vegeta roared, his voice shaking the foundations of the world. "It is ERASED!"

The resulting explosion didn't just kill Kabuto; it vaporized the reactor and the mountain itself, sending a shockwave that cleared the skies for a thousand kilometers.

Conclusion: The Lens of the Apocalypse

Sasuke and Zoro skidded into the Alliance HQ just as the Black Moon's central core reached critical mass, its primary cannon swiveling toward the village.

"Robin! Piccolo! Take the metal!" Zoro yelled, heaving the ingots toward the lab.

In that same moment, the doors to the recovery wing burst open. Luffy, Naruto, and Goku stepped out, their faces set in grim masks of determination. Goku looked toward the horizon where Mount Subaru used to be, feeling Vegeta's Ki flickering like a dying ember. "Vegeta... you did it. You magnificent bastard."

Naruto looked up at the looming fortress in the sky. "They're here. Ready yourselves for the final stand!"

Suddenly, the Black Moon fired—but not at the village. A colossal, crimson beam of concentrated energy shot upward, striking the Golden Fractures in the sky.

"What are they doing?" Robin asked, her eyes wide with shock.

"They aren't trying to destroy us," Piccolo replied, his face turning a sickly shade of pale. "They are using the Moon as a focal lens... they're trying to forcibly pull the 'Origin' through the cracks using raw power!"
