"Tell me how you know me. Which civilization are you from? Lieyang, River Lethe, or Kamigawa?" Kaisha asked, elegantly crossing her legs as she looked down at Tashigi.
"Queen Kaisha, I am from none of those. My situation is more like... a reincarnation."
"Dark Information Coverage," Kaisha muttered softly.
"I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I don't think so. If you've ever been to Earth, you'd understand. It's as if I didn't drink enough of Meng Po's Soup. After some external stimulus in this life, I recovered the memories of my previous one. I am simply myself, both then and now."
"A residual dark information awakening? Then did you create all of this?" Kaisha asked, gesturing to the island.
Tashigi shook her head quickly. "No, Queen Kaisha. The reason this world has become like this is because of another transmigratoror perhaps an alien force. The Jiangshi, the ninjas, the kung fu, and the Daoist arts... he brought all of them here. The future of this world wasn't supposed to be like this."
"Oh? So you know the future of this world. I wonder... do you know the future of the Angels?"
Tashigi was silent for a moment before answering. "I knew the original future of the Angels. But now that everything has changed, I don't know anymore. After all, no one knows if Jiangshi, ninjas, and Daoist arts actually exist in this universe or if that transmigrator just manifested them here."
"And what was that 'original' future?"
"Queen Kaisha... you were transported to the Emerald Star by Karl using the Great Clock. Then, Morgana used Leina to trigger a supernova, blowing you apart. Your Holy Atoms were scattered across the wormholes of the universe. Hexi was killed by Hua Ye, and the Angelic civilization suffered devastating losses."
"Presumptuous!" The younger angels cried out in outrage. Hearing that Kaisha and Hexi were "killed" made them glare at Tashigi with murderous intent.
Terrified by their reaction, Tashigi lowered her head and stopped talking. Kaisha waved her hand to quiet her subordinates. "An interesting future indeed. I wonder, now that a transmigrator has interfered, what the future of the Angels will actually become?"
"If that transmigrator is a woman, it might be fine. But if it's a man... the Angels will likely suffer an even worse fate," Tashigi whispered.
Kaisha tilted her head. "Oh? Why is that?"
"Judging by the fact that he unleashed a plague of Jiangshi upon this world, he isn't a good person. He acts without restraint. Who knows what he would do to the Angels? He might capture them all for some evil purpose."
The members of Qiu Xia's faction, who had been listening quietly, finally erupted in anger. "Shut up! Our Lord is not an evil person!"
Tashigi recoiled a few steps, stunned by their outburst. Since arriving on the island, these people had been extremely kind to her and the others, only restricting their movement for their own safety. This was the first time she had seen the entire faction roar in defense of one person.
"It seems you all know this transmigrator?" Kaisha smiled.
"We have nothing to say to you!" the lead youth replied coldly.
Some of the angels bristled at his attitude and moved to teach him a lesson, but Kaisha raised a hand to stop them.
"If you won't tell me, I'll see for myself." Kaisha activated her Eye of Insight and began to read the memories of those on the island.
She couldn't read the memories of the nine Jiangshi or the Demon Star. Nor could she penetrate the minds of those who had reached the level of Heavenly Master or Grandmaster. However, the rest of the islanders were open books to her.
Through their memories, she saw Qiu Xia. She saw the details of the island and used the Sacred Knowledge Vault to simulate and analyze the data of the outside world. Finally, she pieced together what Qiu Xia had done since arriving.
Everything Tashigi had mentionedthe arts and powerswere indeed brought by Qiu Xia. However, his initial intentions were noble. He had chosen slaves and the suffering as his targets, and most were initially of good character. It was only after they gained power that some remained true to themselves while others were corrupted, leading to the destruction of the world order.
While the chaos was partially his fault, it couldn't all be blamed on him. Many of his actions were objectively just, such as purging the corrupt darkness of the East Blue and forcing the pirates of the four seas into the New World.
His greatest deed was gathering the world's orphans on this island, teaching them skills and arranging a massive array to protect them. Based on the Sacred Knowledge Vault's analysis, the transmigrator youth was fundamentally righteoushe simply lacked a sense of proportion, which led to the collapse of the global order.
Had he not used those Zombie Transformation Pills, the world might not have ended up like this. Then again, with Morgana involved, if they hadn't become Jiangshi, they likely would have ended up as demon cannon fodder anyway.
"I wonder when he will return. Jiangshi do not belong on this planet. You will come with us. The rest of you may continue to live here."
The Jiangshi were, naturally, unwilling to go. Although the nine of them had consumed the blood of the Demon Star and the Demon Star's parents had already surpassed the Red-eyed stage, they were no match for the Queen of Angels. Kaisha quickly subdued and captured the remaining Jiangshi on the island before leading her host back toward Merlo Heaven.
The people left on the island were filled with resentment at the abduction of their companions. However, they were powerless. They couldn't defeat the angels, and they had no way to contact Qiu Xia. All they could do was wait for his return so they could report Kaisha's actions to him.
What they didn't know was that even if they did tell him, Qiu Xia might not necessarily be Kaisha's match.
While time flowed in the worlds of Jiangshi and One Piece, what of Qiu Xia?
At that moment, Qiu Xia was sitting in the spectator stands at Konoha, watching a bunch of rookies compete. To him, this was exactly what it wasa rookie show. Although Tsunade's ascension to Hokage meant the Konoha genin knew more ninjutsu and were significantly stronger than before, they still looked like amateurs to him. He could see so many flaws in every jutsu the various villages used that it was becoming quite tedious.
"Why did I even come here? I thought Orochimaru would show up to summon the First and Second Hokage so we could watch two grandfathers beat up their granddaughter. I didn't expect that guy to chicken out." He paused.
"Well, he's not an idiot. Facing a Tsunade in her prime plus Jiraiya is a completely different level of difficulty compared to the old Hiruzen Sarutobi. Speaking of which, where has Hiruzen been the last few years?"
Qiu Xia pinched his fingers together, performing a quick calculation.
He blinked in surprise. What happened to Hiruzen? The answer was: he was dead. The poor old man had a stroke of terrible luck. Since he couldn't return to Konoha, he had been wandering outside the Land of Fire. If he had stayed put, he might have lived, but he just had to go for a stroll. As a result, he ran straight into Obito Uchiha.
Seeing Obito, Hiruzen's grief over his wife's death and his bottled-up rage at being exiled combined into an explosion of fury. He engaged Obito in a desperate battle. Hiruzen was filled with hatred for Obito,
and Obito's feelings toward the old man weren't much better. While Obito hated the Fourth Hokage most, it was the Third who had issued the orders they lived by. They had never crossed paths before, but now that they had, there was no mercy to be found.
Ultimately, because Hiruzen was old and frail, and because of the terrifying power of Obito's spatial visual jutsu, the Third Hokage had breathed his last.
