[Reference] Glossary

 

Ascendant: A person chosen to hold immense magical potential, destined to become the most powerful user of a specific element or force.

 

Concordance of Terrarium: A global agreement established in 2730 UE, marking the start of the Concordance Era. Its purpose is to ban harmful chemicals and practices that damage magic and the natural environment that houses it.

 

Dirvah: A matriarchal, nomadic species known for their freedom, intimacy, and accelerated maturity. Dirvahs physically and emotionally mature much faster than humans, often displaying adult capabilities in their early years. They live for 150-200 years and have shifting dark markings that morph with their emotions, visually reflecting their inner states and cultural openness to emotional expression.

 

Enfa: A disciplined, structured, and often patriarchal species. Enfas are capable of living up to 250 years, with a naturally accelerated maturity that aligns with their society's high expectations for responsibility from a young age. They have glowing static markings that intensify with their emotions and a halo that becomes more intricate with age, symbolizing their wisdom and social rank.

 

Faenin: A graceful and mysterious species, known for their connection to nature. They often have ethereal appearances, with very long lifespans and unique abilities tied to their surroundings. Faenins' minds develop around twice the speed of humans.

 

Fortuna: A ring that stores currency and serves as personal identification for its wearer.

 

Gaian: Humans of Terrarium, notable for their adaptability and versatility. They are a shorter-lived species compared to others, yet they form the foundation of many cultures and societies across the world.

 

Guardian: A person assigned to protect and guard the life of an Ascendant. Guardians are usually family members and are responsible for ensuring the Ascendant's safety.

 

Nalea: A diverse species of anthropomorphic people, divided into three main races: Aves, Ocea, and Bestia. Some Naleas resemble Gaians closely, while others have distinctly animal-like features.

 

Xu'rith: An all-female species with whimsical, cloud-like hair and the ability to walk on air. Their eyes change color based on the weather, and they are often tan or dark-skinned, standing taller than most species. Known for their strong connection to magic, Xu'riths' minds develop around half the speed of humans, but gain increased mastery of magic.
