Daniel knew what was happening.
And it terrified him.
"Nora, listen to me," he said urgently.
"You need to run. Now."
But Nora couldn't move.
Her entire body felt like it was burning from the inside.
The red moonlight fell directly on her face.
The wolves around them began whispering among themselves.
"She's awakening."
"The prophecy is real."
Daniel felt rage building inside him.
"No one touches her!"
The black wolf laughed again.
"You cannot stop destiny."
Suddenly Nora collapsed to her knees.
Pain shot through her body.
Memories she had never lived flashed inside her mind.
Ancient forests.
Wolves running under the moon.
A throne made of bones.
And a crown of silver.
A voice echoed in her head:
"You are the daughter of the Blood Moon."
