Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: The Alpha’s Fear

For the first time in centuries…

The Alpha felt fear.

He stared at Nora in disbelief.

The crimson glow in her eyes was undeniable.

The prophecy was real.

The Blood Moon heir had awakened.

The wolves in the forest lowered themselves instinctively.

Even the strongest among them felt the power rising from Nora's presence.

Daniel stepped forward slowly.

"Nora…"

But Nora didn't answer.

Her breathing was deep.

Her senses overwhelmed by the new world around her.

Every scent.

Every heartbeat.

Every movement.

She could feel everything.

The Alpha walked toward her slowly.

His silver eyes were no longer arrogant.

Now they were cautious.

"You feel it now, don't you?"

Nora slowly lifted her head.

Her crimson eyes locked onto his.

And suddenly…

The entire forest trembled.

A wave of power burst from her body.

The wolves staggered backward.

Daniel's eyes widened.

Even the Alpha was forced to take one step back.

Nora whispered softly.

But her voice carried through the entire forest.

"I can hear them."

The Alpha frowned.

"Hear who?"

Nora slowly looked toward the mountains in the distance.

Then she spoke again.

"The wolves… that are coming."

The Alpha's expression changed instantly.

"What?"

Nora's crimson eyes darkened.

"There are hundreds of them."

The forest fell into silence again.

Because they all understood one terrifying truth.

A war was coming.
