The axe flew toward Master Roshi at incredible speed.
Roshi seemed to sense the sharp killing intent coming from behind. He spun around in a flashy motion, attempting to block the attack with his walking stick.
Crack!
The sharp axe instantly sliced Roshi's cane in half and lodged directly into the top of his head.
"Ah—my cane!" Roshi cried miserably, howling in pain.
Broly: "..."
"Pff—"
Broly burst out laughing on the spot.
"That hurts so much…" Roshi groaned, rubbing his head as if the entire world had turned against him.
"Are you alright?" the sea turtle asked anxiously as it rushed over.
"Pfft… hahaha!" Broly laughed without the slightest concern.
"Stop laughing!" Roshi shouted angrily. "I raised you all these years, and you care less about me than a turtle does!"
Broly quickly covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing.
However, his shoulders kept shaking uncontrollably.
"See? He definitely isn't Master Roshi!" Chi-Chi became even more suspicious.
"You idiot!" Roshi snapped angrily. "You suddenly launched a sneak attack! I was completely unprepared!"
"If you're really Master Roshi… then show us proof!" Chi-Chi argued.
"Look! My name is on this ID card!" Roshi said as he pulled out his identification and showed it to her.
"Oh… so it's really you!" Chi-Chi exclaimed.
She immediately stepped on Roshi's face with one foot, pulled the axe out of his head, and said apologetically,
"I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"
"Aaaah—!" Roshi grimaced in pain.
"I'm really sorry… I truly failed to recognize your greatness…" Chi-Chi said while blushing shyly.
"I hate this kid," Roshi grumbled angrily.
"Pff—"
Broly could no longer hold it in and burst out laughing again.
Roshi turned and glared at him furiously.
"I wasn't laughing," Broly said quickly, covering his mouth again—though his shoulders shook even more.
"You say you weren't laughing?!" Roshi shouted even louder.
But as soon as he got angry—
Blood suddenly spurted from the wound on his head.
"Pfft… Old man, you look like you've grown red hair," Broly said, laughing even harder.
Roshi: "..."
"Hahaha!" Goku also laughed carelessly.
Roshi suddenly felt dizzy and staggered around.
It seemed he had lost a bit too much blood.
"What are you standing around for? Go get a bandage!" Roshi shouted at Broly.
"Oh." Broly nodded and quickly ran into the house.
Moments later, he returned with a sanitary pad and handed it over.
"You idiot! That's not a bandage!" Roshi yelled, his face turning green with anger.
"There isn't a bandage that big," Broly replied seriously.
Roshi thought about it.
That was true.
A normal bandage would be far too small for the wound on his head.

Using this to stop the bleeding might not be a bad idea.
"Wait a minute…" Chi-Chi said suspiciously. "Does a woman live in this house?"
"No," Roshi replied casually while Broly helped stick the sanitary pad to his head.
"If no woman lives here… then why do you have something like that?" Chi-Chi asked curiously.
Roshi: "..."
His old face instantly turned red.
"Ahem… that's not important," Roshi coughed awkwardly, quickly changing the subject.
"So, why did you two come to see me?"
"Oh right! I almost forgot!" Goku said.
"Grandpa, do you have the Bansho Fan here?"
"What do you need the Bansho Fan for?" Roshi asked.
"We want to borrow it to put out the fire at Fire Mountain!" Chi-Chi explained quickly.
"We'll return it immediately after using it. Please lend it to us," Goku added.
"Oh… so it's the flames of Fire Mountain," Roshi said thoughtfully.
"I've heard about it. The Bansho Fan can indeed extinguish those flames."
After saying that, Roshi turned around dramatically and stood silently.
"Please lend it to us!" Chi-Chi bowed politely.
"What is Grandpa thinking about?" Goku scratched his head.
"Alright, I'll lend it to you," Roshi finally agreed.
"That's great! Thank you!" Chi-Chi jumped happily.
"But… I have one condition."
Roshi turned around and beckoned to Goku.
"Kid, come here for a moment."
Goku pointed at his own nose with a confused expression.
"Me?"
"Yes, you. Come here," Roshi nodded.
"A condition?" Chi-Chi asked.
"What is it?" Goku walked over.
Broly and the sea turtle also leaned in curiously to watch.
"I'll lend you the Bansho Fan," Roshi said with a mischievous grin.
"But the girl who was with you last time… the one named…"
"Bulma?" Goku guessed.
"Yes, yes! That's her!" Roshi said eagerly.
"Can you let me… hehe… you know…"
His face was filled with a shameless grin, and drool began to drip again.
"Master Roshi, what kind of behavior is that?" the sea turtle protested.
"Shh! Keep your voice down!" Roshi waved frantically.
"Look at Broly. He didn't say anything!"
"That's because Broly doesn't understand!" the turtle replied while looking at Roshi with deep contempt.
"Sigh… how embarrassing."
"Don't say that!" Roshi rolled his eyes angrily.
"I don't have many years left to live anyway. Just consider it my final wish before death!"
"What 'final wish'? Didn't you drink the immortality elixir?" the turtle argued.
"You don't have to talk if you don't want to!" Roshi snapped.
Suddenly he felt even dizzier and began swaying slightly.
"You… are you okay?" the turtle asked with concern.
"Why does my head feel even dizzier after putting this thing on?" Roshi said while touching the sanitary pad.
"I heard it has very strong absorption power…" the turtle murmured.
Roshi: "..."
Roshi immediately felt his whole body go cold.
Is it trying to suck all my blood out?!
"I remember there's a large bandage in the drawer…" the turtle added.
"Then why didn't you say that earlier?!" Roshi shouted angrily.
Fortunately, Roshi replaced it in time.
Otherwise he might have actually died from blood loss.
"Broly! Were you trying to kill me?" Roshi glared at him furiously.
"Then why do we keep something that absorbs blood so strongly at home?" Broly asked seriously.
Roshi: "..."
