Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The World After the Gates

Great war

The world had not always been a battlefield.

Long before the age of heroes and awakened warriors, the continents of the world were divided among the great races. Each race ruled its own lands, built its own kingdoms, and believed itself superior to all others. Wars were common, pride was endless, and peace was nothing more than a pause between conflicts.

Across the northern lands stood the powerful human empire centered around the capital of the Valerion Kingdom, a vast and wealthy realm built by humans after centuries of war. Humans were adaptable, ambitious, and relentless. They lacked the raw strength of giants, the magic of elves, and the longevity of dragons, but they possessed something the others underestimated—endless determination.

To the west beneath towering mountain ranges stretched the underground halls of the Khaz-Dur Dwarven Kingdom. The dwarves were master craftsmen and warriors whose cities were carved directly into the bones of the mountains. Their weapons and armor were legendary, forged from metals found nowhere else in the world. Few armies could break a dwarven shield wall.

Beyond the eastern skies rose the floating citadels of the Draconis Dragon Kingdom, where ancient dragons ruled over vast territories of fire and cloud. Dragons were beings of immense power, creatures whose lifespans stretched for centuries. When ragons took the battlefield, entire armies vanished beneath storms of flame.

Far to the south lay the eternal forests of the Sylvaria Elven Kingdom, where the elves lived in harmony with nature. Their cities were grown rather than built, towering trees shaped by ancient magic into palaces and fortresses. Elves were masters of magic, archery, and ancient knowledge that most races had long forgotten.

Across a volcanic chain of islands burned the spirit Realm, a land of elements beings born their. peaceful and some of them show interest in some people who are intrest them lend their power.

And far across a distant ocean lay a land feared by nearly every race in existence—the shadowed lands known as the Nocturna Vampire Continent. Vampires ruled that continent, immortal predators who thrived in darkness and commanded terrifying blood magic. Many kingdoms attempted to conquer that land in the past, but none returned victorious.

For centuries these realms fought one another.

Human armies clashed with dwarven legions. Dragons burned elven forests. Vampires hunted across borders under the cover of night. Alliances formed and shattered like glass. The world seemed destined to remain locked in endless war.

But then the gates appeared.

At first they were small.

Strange cracks formed in lands distant wilderness regions. Black spiraling portals opened, pulsing with unnatural energy. Creatures crawled out of them—monsters unlike anything the races had ever seen before.

But the kings and rulers of the world did not panic.

They believed these were minor threats. Strange beasts from another realm perhaps, nothing that their armies could not easily destroy.

They were wrong.

Within a few decades the gates began appearing everywhere.

Cities reported strange creatures attacking villages. Forests became infested with beasts. Entire trade routes vanished beneath waves of monsters.

Scholars eventually discovered the horrifying truth.

The gates were openings connected to another world.

A world known only as the Daemon Realm.

A land filled with demons and dark beings.

Even then many kingdoms still refused to take the threat seriously.

Until the fall of the Titans.

In the far north of the world existed a powerful land known as Taitanas Continent.

It was home to the Titans—giant warriors said to possess strength rivaling dragons themselves. Titans were nearly unstoppable in battle. Entire mountain ranges trembled when they marched.

If any race could resist the creatures emerging from the gates, it should have been them.

But one night the land near gaint forest in Taitanas cracked open.

Hundreds of gates appeared at once.

Demons poured into the titan lands like a black ocean.

The war lasted only three days.

When it ended, the Titans were gone.

Their cities were reduced to ruins and their entire continent fell to the demon armies. What once had been the proud homeland of the Titans became known across the world as the Lost Continent.

The demons claimed it as their new territory.

From there they began expanding.

That was when the world finally realized the truth.

If the Titans could fall, no race was safe.

The kings and rulers of every race gathered for the first time in history. Humans, dwarves, elves, dragons, and even vampires sent representatives to a single meeting.

From that meeting came the creation of the High Council of valthera.

For the first time in history, all races united under a single alliance.

Each kingdom sent their strongest warriors.

Dragon lords.

Elven archmages.

Dwarven war champions.

Vampire blood nobles.

And from the human kingdoms came a man who would change the course of history lucas.

The man later known simply as The First Hero of Humanity.

He was not born into nobility.

He had no powerful bloodline.

But when the gates appeared, he awakened after deamons claimed his parents and village and gathered allies around him—warriors who would become legends.

Together they formed the group remembered throughout history as the Hero Party of the First Hero.

With the combined armies of every race and the leadership of the Hero Party of humans, the world launched its greatest war.

The war against the demons.

For twenty years the conflict raged.

Entire kingdoms burned. Continents trembled beneath battles between dragons and demon lords. Heroes rose and fell across the battlefield.

But eventually the alliance succeeded.

The Hero Party led the final assault into the largest gate ever discovered and defeated the demon commanders controlling the invasion. With their deaths the great gates collapsed, sealing the pathway to the Daemon Realm.

The world survived.

But the victory changed everything.

The First Hero returned to the human kingdoms only to find the old nobility had grown corrupt during the war. While soldiers fought demons on distant battlefields, many nobles had hoarded wealth and abandoned their people.

The hero refused to accept it.

With the support of his companions and the people, he overthrew the corrupt nobles and established a new kingdom.

Thus was born the human empire ruled by the Heroic Royal Dynasty, a royal family descended from the First Hero himself.

For a time, peace returned to the world.

But the gates never truly disappeared.

Over the centuries they began opening again—smaller, more frequent, scattered across every continent.

This time the world was prepared.

People began call awakeners as hunters .it became a profession . awekers number grew day by day and

Individuals capable of wielding supernatural abilities far beyond ordinary warriors became grew.

These awakeners became the new defenders of civilization.

They entered the gates, fought the monsters within, and closed them before they could expand.

Some awakeners became legends.

Others founded powerful noble houses.

And some bloodlines passed their awakened powers down through generations.

A thousand years have passed since the age of the First Hero.

Yet the gates still open.

Monsters still emerge.

And every generation produces new awakeners who must step forward to defend the world but they are about face their greatest war know to know to valthera.
