Chapter 10 - The Namekian's Warning

Three months passed. Luffy trained relentlessly. He meditated every morning, learning to sense Ki across vast distances. He practiced his Kamehameha until he could fire it with pinpoint accuracy. He developed new combinations of his Gears and Ki, creating techniques that even Roshi would have admired.

His crew trained too. Zoro, intrigued by the concept of Ki, had begun working with Luffy to sense it. His Observation Haki, already strong, began to evolve into something new. Sanji's Sky Walk became faster, more precise. Even Usopp, through sheer determination, learned to sense energy well enough to aim his shots with supernatural accuracy.

They had settled into a routine, exploring the New World while preparing for Vegeta's return. But the universe had other plans.

It started with a tremor. Not in the sea, but in the sky. The same kind of dimensional tear that had brought Luffy here and taken him back.

"This again?" Nami groaned. "I hate these things!"

A figure emerged from the tear. Tall, green, with pointed ears and antennae. It wasn't Kami—this Namekian was younger, wearing battle armor, his expression grim.

"You are Monkey D. Luffy?" the Namekian asked, his voice carrying across the water.

Luffy, who had been fishing off the bow, looked up. "Yep! That's me! Are you a friend of Kami? You look like him but smaller and angrier!"

The Namekian landed on the deck, his eyes scanning the crew. "I am Piccolo. I am... was... Kami's other half. We were once one being, but we separated long ago. I come with a warning."

Robin stepped forward, her expression curious. "A warning from another dimension? This is fascinating."

Piccolo nodded grimly. "The being you defeated—the Void Eater—it was not destroyed. It cannot be destroyed by conventional means. You merely dispersed its physical form. It has reformed, and it's angry. It's been whispering to beings in my universe, promising power in exchange for your destruction."

Sanji scoffed, lighting a cigarette. "So more enemies are coming. Big deal. We've faced worse."

"You don't understand," Piccolo said. "The Void Eater has found a willing host. A being of immense power and even greater malice. He calls himself Frieza."

The name meant nothing to the crew, but the way Piccolo said it sent a chill through everyone.

"Frieza," Piccolo continued, "is an emperor who has conquered countless worlds. He commands an army of elite warriors. He can destroy planets with a fraction of his power. And he's become... curious about you."

Luffy tilted his head. "So he's strong?"

"The strongest being in my universe, aside from the gods themselves."

Luffy's face split into a massive grin. "Awesome! When's he coming? I'll throw him a party!"

Piccolo stared at the rubber boy for a long moment. Then, unexpectedly, he laughed. It was a harsh, rusty sound, as if he hadn't laughed in years.

"You're either insane or the bravest fool I've ever met. Perhaps both. But I can see why Kami took an interest in you." His expression sobered. "Frieza won't come himself. Not at first. He'll send his elites. The Ginyu Force. Five of the most powerful warriors in the universe, each with abilities that defy logic. They'll test you. And if you survive, Frieza will come to collect the prize himself."

"What prize?" Nami asked, her voice sharp.

Piccolo's gaze met Luffy's. "You. The Void Eater has convinced Frieza that consuming your unique energy will grant him immortality and unlimited power. Frieza, already obsessed with eternal life, now has a new goal. He will hunt you across dimensions if necessary."

The crew fell silent. The weight of the situation settled over them like a shroud.

Luffy broke the silence with laughter. "Shishishi! So this Frieza guy wants to eat me? That's rude! I'm the one who does the eating!"

He stood up, cracking his neck. "Okay, green guy. Thanks for the warning. But tell me—are these Ginyu guys strong? Like, fun-to-fight strong?"

Piccolo blinked. "They're among the most feared warriors in the cosmos."

"Perfect! I've been training for months! I need a good warm-up before the main event!" Luffy turned to his crew. "Everyone hear that? We've got guests coming! Let's throw them a welcome party they'll never forget!"

The crew stared at their captain. Then, slowly, grins spread across their faces. This was Luffy. This was why they followed him. No matter the threat, no matter the odds, he faced it with a smile and absolute faith in his crew.

Zoro stepped forward, his hand on Enma. "When?"

"Soon," Piccolo said. "Days, maybe hours. I came as fast as I could."

"Then we'd better prepare," Jinbe said calmly. "Captain, what are your orders?"

Luffy looked at the sky, at the spot where the dimensional tear had been. For a moment, his expression was serious. Then the grin returned.

"We fight. We win. And then we find a way to beat this Frieza guy before he causes trouble in our world too. I'm not letting anyone eat my crew or my friends!"

Piccolo nodded slowly. "I'll stay and help. It's the least I can do after everything Kami taught me about balance. Besides..." He cracked his knuckles. "I've wanted to test myself against the Ginyu Force for years."

The stage was set. Somewhere across dimensions, five of the universe's deadliest warriors were preparing to descend. And on a ship in the New World, a rubber boy with a straw hat and an unshakeable will was getting ready to show them what a real fight looked like.
