Chapter 158 - Chapter 158: Why Is the Gap Between Peter and Peter So Huge?

The three Spider-Men's gazes finally landed on Peter, their voices filled with disbelief.

Meanwhile, Gwen and Felicia analyzed some clues from their fragmented words.

These people had the same abilities as themselves/Gwen, and they were likely... Peter?!

With such a question, Gwen almost subconsciously asked the doubt in her heart:

"Are you all... Peter?"

Hearing Gwen's question, the three Spider-Men looked at each other and then nodded in unison.

Then, the three of them removed their masks with synchronized movements.

"Hiss—"

The moment those three faces were exposed to the air, Gwen and Felicia both gasped in unison.

Because the three guys in front of them were really... exactly the same as Peter!

What was this? A Peter Parker clearance sale, buy one get three free?

Now, not only did the two of them not have to fight over him, but they could even get two each, achieving double the happiness?!

While the two were having such messy thoughts in their heads,

the voices of their respective Symbiotes rang in their minds:

"Hey, Gwen, calm down. They aren't Peter at all, or rather, they aren't the Peter you want."

"These three guys... are so weak! And they smell stinky. Beings of this level aren't worthy of carrying My Lord Peter's name at all!"

Obviously, the latter sentence was said by tide.

Although tide wasn't a "child" split off by Peter himself,

she was an existence that had been purified by Peter using the power of the horse talisman at the very beginning of her birth.

Therefore, she had a natural affinity for Peter, who had the horse talisman's energy in his body, and had even developed a "Peter-Radar" that could instantly lock onto Peter among countless friendly neighbors.

Reminded by their respective Symbiotes, Gwen and Felicia snapped out of their shock.

Once the initial shock faded, they quickly discovered the differences between the three friendly neighbors (to avoid confusion, other Spider-Men are distinguished by "No. X Friendly Neighbor") and Peter.

Although they looked the same as Peter, if one observed closely, subtle differences could still be seen.

The most obvious was the difference in age.

No. 1, who liked to say "WTF," looked only fifteen or sixteen years old, much more immature than the Peter they knew.

He looked like a complete Little Brat!

The other two were "older" than Peter.

The reason for using "old" instead of "mature" was that these two didn't look as confident, handsome, or high-spirited as the Peter they knew.

"Number Two Good Neighbor," who first discovered Peter's existence, was closest in age to Peter.

He looked only two or three years older than Peter, likely not having graduated from college yet, with eyes full of the "clear stupidity" unique to college students.

The other one looked to be around thirty years old; he was the scruffiest of the three, with stubble, messy hair, weathered eyes, and even a slight beer belly... "Hey, in exchange, you should let us see your true face too!"

The "No. 1 Friendly Neighbor," still a Little Brat, clamored this way.

Hearing this, Gwen hesitated for a moment before retracting her Symbiote suit.

Felicia had no intention of retracting her suit, but tide did it on her own.

Mainly, she wanted to test if these Peters were also only infatuated with Gwen.

"WTF, your suits... how did you do that? That's so cool!"

No. 1 Friendly Neighbor's attention was all on the Symbiote suits, looking like a Little Brat who had seen a new toy.

The other two friendly neighbors, however, were completely stunned after seeing Gwen and Felicia's faces.

"G... Gwen?!"

The college version of Number Two Good Neighbor's eyes turned red instantly upon seeing Gwen's true face, his voice trembling uncontrollably.

"Felicia!"

The scruffy uncle neighbor on the side was shaken to the core upon seeing Felicia, and thick moisture instantly welled up in his weathered eyes.

Almost simultaneously, with faces full of tears and the wild joy of regaining something lost, the two rushed toward Gwen and Felicia, opening their arms as if wanting to give them a long-overdue hug.

However... "Don't come over!"

"Get lost!"

Accompanied by two sharp rebukes, the two friendly neighbors' movements were instantly halted.

It wasn't even Peter who acted, but Gwen and Felicia themselves.

The Spider-Sense in Gwen's head screamed a warning, and she almost subconsciously used the Karate techniques Peter had taught her.

With a clean over-the-shoulder throw, she slammed Number Two Good Neighbor onto the ground.

Felicia was even more direct; tide transformed her arm into a sharp blade, pointing it from a distance at Number Three Good Neighbor.

At this moment, they were completely certain that they had never loved Peter's face.

What they truly loved and were unable to extricate themselves from was that unique soul.

It was that Peter Parker who was full of Haki, powerful, yet gentle, someone they could set aside all defenses to rely on.

Not these two "losers" in front of them who looked "weak" and had eyes full of sadness and pain.

Seeing the atmosphere fall into a strange awkwardness, Peter, who had been watching the show for a long while, finally stepped forward:

"Gentlemen, your behavior is a bit too reckless. I hope you realize that they are both my girls."

"If there's a next time, my actions will be much more violent than theirs."

Peter took the opportunity to pull them both into his arms, declaring his sovereignty on the spot.

To this, Felicia was naturally incredibly submissive, her eyes full of seductive happiness.

As for Gwen, although she was still secretly depressed because of Peter's "two-timing,"

to prevent that "clone" opposite her from developing any more inappropriate thoughts, she ultimately didn't reject Peter's embrace.

Seeing Peter with a girl in each arm, the two friendly neighbors were struck as if by lightning.

For a moment, a resentment strong enough to make the Evil Sword Immortal high surged in their hearts.

Wait, man, we're all Peters. Why do you have a girl in each arm while I'm so miserable!

But this thought appeared only for a moment before the kind friendly neighbors immediately snuffed it out.

While this Universe's Peter was indeed enviable, they ultimately had to walk their own paths.

And that Little Brat "No. 1" was full of envy... Wow, this is a role model for our generation!

No one else in the Spider-Society is as badass as this guy!

After I return to my Universe, should I also pay tribute to this senior?

But similarly, this thought only appeared for an instant before being snuffed out by this Underoos himself.

This was too immoral and didn't fit the values Uncle Ben and Aunt Mei taught him... Besides, he couldn't even handle one MJ, so where would he find other partners?

And with MJ's personality, if he dared to look for other girls, his home would probably turn into a hat shop in the blink of an eye.
