Watching his wife being held in mid-air by her neck like a little chick, even Mister Fantastic's super-brain couldn't maintain its composure.
"Let her go!"
Reed Richards roared, his entire body becoming boneless as he suddenly elongated his arm, coiling it toward Peter.
In the distance, Captain America couldn't help but slap his forehead at the sight.
What is with the four of you today? This is literally like the Calabash Brothers saving their Grandpa one by one!
We can't let that guy on the other side keep picking us off individually!
With that thought, he immediately raised his circular shield high and shouted the classic slogan:
"Avengers... assemble!"
Avengers, assemble!
With the command given, Captain America took the lead, charging toward Peter with Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the others behind him.
The plan was beautiful, the tactics classic.
But before he could even use his shield as a parachute to land...
A graceful figure accompanied by a whistling web arrived, and a sharp whip-kick slammed hard into his chest!
Bang!
The massive force sent Captain America flying backward in mid-air, his sturdy body rolling clumsily several times on the ground before he managed to stabilize himself.
"If you want to interrupt Peter's fight, you'll have to get through me first."
Gwen landed in a classic Spider-Man pose, her gaze then turning sharp as she looked at the Avengers before her.
She had two hundred percent confidence in Peter's strength.
But having confidence didn't mean she would just watch her man get ganged up on by a group of superheroes.
Gwen was no mere damsel in distress!
She was a supportive partner who could share Peter's burdens!
Seeing Gwen unhesitatingly block the Avengers, the Little Spiders, who had been busy cheering for Peter, finally snapped out of it.
They quickly appeared behind their sister-in-law one by one:
"Sister-in-law is right, no one is allowed to interrupt the Boss's fight!"
"If you want a group fight, we're not afraid of you!"
"I respect you all, but in this matter, we are the victims!"
"We just came here to demand an explanation from the culprit. If you want to shield that bastard, we won't show mercy, even if you are the Avengers!"
"Exactly! We might not be as fierce as the Boss, but we're no pushovers either!"
"We won't hurt you, but we won't just watch you stop us from seeking the truth!"
In an instant, the battle between the Spider Army and the Avengers erupted.
The moment the fight broke out, the situation tilted overwhelmingly in favor of the Spider Army.
Though the Avengers' name was famous, in essence, the only ones in this roster who counted as cosmic-level combatants were Hulk and Thor (Wanda, Vision, Captain Marvel, and others were not in this current Avengers lineup).
Even including Tony as Iron Man, there were only two and a half cosmic-level combatants.
Aside from those three, the remaining members—Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Spider-Woman—were no match for a Spider-Man in a one-on-one, let alone facing a Spider Army of over a hundred people!
As these four superheroes were bundled up like cocoons by the Little Spiders' webs...
The situation on the field quickly turned into the Spider Army ganging up on Iron Man and Hulk.
"Guys, my firepower-deficiency phobia is acting up!"
Tony Stark maneuvered rapidly in the air, his palm cannons and micro-missiles pouring out frantically.
But there were simply too many Spider-Men!
Moreover, relying on their Spider-Sense, they could always predict Tony's trajectories and weave flexibly between the buildings.
While Tony was busy dealing with these Little Spiders, a black-and-white figure quietly appeared behind him.
Sensing something was wrong, he turned and threw a punch!
But his fist, covered in the Extremis armor, was steadily caught by a slender palm—it was Gwen, who had activated her symbiote suit!
After activating the symbiote suit, Gwen's strength exceeded thirty tons.
Even facing the Extremis armor that was completely integrated with the body, she could still handle it with ease:
"I'll take care of this guy. You lot be responsible for tying down the Hulk over there and the one with the hammer."

Just as Gwen finished speaking, a massive bolt of lightning snaked through the air again, shocking countless Little Spiders until they were covered in smoke.

Gwen looked at Thor, who was wreathed in electricity, and suddenly thought of something. She spoke in a relaxed tone:
"You can let the one with the hammer pass; just tying down the Hulk is enough!"

Thor Odinson and Mister Fantastic Reed closed in on Peter from the left and right.

Peter casually tossed Invisible Woman aside and then made a defensive movement identical to the one she had used to resist his attack earlier.

Mister Fantastic looked at the little broken watch on Peter's wrist, then at his defensive stance—the same as his wife's—and a somewhat absurd thought flashed through his super-brain.
Just as he was thinking "This is too absurd, it's absolutely impossible," what happened in the next second made his eyes widen.
Hum!
Almost the instant Reed's elongated fist and Thor's crashing lightning were about to touch Peter's body...
An invisible energy field appeared instantly, protecting Peter perfectly within it like a layer of bubbles.
The violent lightning and Reed's elongated fist slammed into the field simultaneously.
Yet they only caused a faint ripple on the energy field; not even a single crack was left behind.
This eerie scene made Thor's and Reed's eyes nearly pop out of their sockets.
Fuck, this guy actually copied Susan's ability!
What kind of international joke is this!
A variant of Spider-Man whose physical fitness is freakish enough to tank The Thing wasn't enough...
Now he can even copy other people's superpowers?
If he's allowed to copy all the abilities of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four...
Who in this Universe could possibly stop him?
"That watch!"
As Mister Fantastic with an IQ over 27, Reed, who had an eidetic memory, quickly recalled the events that had just transpired and instantly reached a key conclusion:
"He deliberately restrained his opponents to stall for time when fighting Susan and the others. Afterward, his watch would emit a green light. That might be the source of those strange abilities!"
Seeing that the strike failed, Reed took the opportunity to turn his body into a slide, successfully transporting Susan and the others back to a safe area.
After completing this, he pointed at the little broken watch on Peter's wrist and looked at Thor in the air.
"Find a way to take that watch off, or just try to destroy it!"
